Need Help Finding A Doctor To Prescribe Me Xanax (Page 16)

Please give me a list of doctors that will prescribe me xanax? I have bad anxiety.

@Cryst22/Krystle - this forum doesn't nest the replies so it's a bit difficult to tell whom you're trying to ask for help from. If you use the "@" sign with the handle that the person chose it'll help make things easier. I know that normally it's not allowed here to directly contact people and they don't allow you to make your e-mail address publicly known, but there have been instances where the mods here have helped two people connect with each other when they both consented to it and could genuinely help each other out. I,have tried every physic med there is and had bf side effects to almost all our every one! Xanax yes they have a stigmatizum they work, I'd rather go through withdrawal then wake up every day and in the middle of the night I'm a panic and crying until you walk in someone's shoes you shouldn't judge! Do you know how bad it hurts nor beingable to play with my 2yo because my anxiety is none stop? It's living torture is rather be dead! I don't want my son growing up with a sick mom that can only get up to feed or change him then to have depression on top of itand bipolar don't get me started!

@Cecilia, many of the people here DO understand exactly where you're coming from. I don't think anyone is judging you . . . And if someone here is, they're just some jerk trying to get a rise out of you and not worth your time or energy. Ignoring people like that is the best course of action cuz they get tired of not getting a reaction from you and eventually they go away.

I suffer from acute panic attack I've been treated in the past by a doctor Greg me with xanax that was very effective I lost my insurance so used eat ours emergency rooms to help as much as possible it's been years but I have insurance now looking for a doctor to help with anxiety problem to prescribe xanax to me

Xanax is difficult to get my experience I was always proscribed xanax or lorazepam when I was younger. I only took them as needed but after a life changing experience an assault and a few other things w my ex partner I was prescribed the xanax bars 6mg a day. My body needed this medication and I still feel I do need it. I've been almost a year with out it but it was hell to get off of. I was switched to different benzodiazepines to get weaned off and withdrawal was horrible! So be very careful with this medication.

Yes I havehad a doctor that perscribed me somas and 1mg xanax twice a day the soma is for my back spasamsdue to degenerative disc disease and the xanax for my high anxiety I need to find a doctor that will help me with my conditions due to my doctor retiring

Okay... so regardless of how people are going to judge, I could care less. I am seriously in need of a legitimate, and reliable doctor who can treat anxiety and prescribe Xanax. First off, I'm in Michigan - so if anyone around has a referral please let me know. I suffer debilitating panic attacks that has had me hospitalized more then 3 times this year alone... and without insurance this is becoming incredibly costly.

Ya'all looking for docs to prescribe you Xanax or any other benzo for anxiety/panic disorder, you are probably better off checking out a psychiatrist first. In my very small community, that seems to be what people are ending up doing. Plus, you will probably have better luck with a psychiatrist since these MEDS are used a lot in their specific practice of medicine. I have heard docs tell patients all the time, " I will not prescribe any of your 'psych' MEDS, you will have to see a psychiatrist for that..." Meaning benzo's. Good luck. I know how debilitating anxiety can be! I feel for you!

First of all THANKS !! we must be twins I seen a Psychiatrist in Chicago for 15 years and also took 3 1mg. alprazolam till I moved to Tenn. & I didn't know where to search for a new doctor till now.
