Need Advice After Being Dismissed From My Doctors Office
UpdatedI need some advice about what I should do in my situation..... I have not been to the doctor in over 3 years because I have not had health insurance in over 5 years... I lost my health insurance when I turned 21 and after that I started paying cash for my Dr. Visits and rx's. I was prescribed aderrall which helped me tremendously (sp?) In my every day life ... I was prescribed to it for about 5 years and messed up one time and had my rx filled early...my Dr. Would let me come to his office once every 3 months for an office visit and to pick up my next 3 mnths of written rx. He did this because I paid cash for every visit and could barely afford to come in every month. ...well I made a mistake and started to get my rx filled early and when I went to my next doctors appt. They told me I had been dismissed from my Dr. And would not explain the reason why...so after that I could no longer get my meds after 5 years of being on them....it has now been 3 years since I've been to the Dr or taken any meds and I can honestly say that my life has fallen apart. I am extremley adhd and have a very hard time getting anything accomplished. I slowley started to see my life fall apart... I had an amazing job as a medical assistant and ended up getting fired a few weeks after I was no longer on my meds.. I also was put on academic probation at. my college and ended up failing and being kicked out...shortly after that I was evicted from my home....and the list goes on. I am here writing this today because I just started a new job and will be getting health insurance and plan on going back to the Dr to try and get put back on adderrall so I can straighten my life back out.... my question is....does anyone know if I will have any issues at the new Dr. Office if they know I was dismissed from a different Dr for filling my meds to early?
