I am 63 years of age suffering from IBS(Diarrhoeal) for years. Recently I have been prescribed Morease SR, Neksium, Fludac(Suspension), Normaxin and Alprax 0.5. What may be the side effects of any of these medicines and how long shall I have to continue them?

Morease contains Mebeverine, it is used to treat IBS and Abdominal spasms, bcause it relaxes these muscle areas, which can help relieve the pain and discomfort.
Some side effects could include: nausea, skin rash and drowsiness.

Normaxin contains the active ingredient Chlordiazepoxide, commonly sold in the US under the brand name Lithium. This is a very potent sedative/hypnotic of the Benzodiazepine class. It is usually used to treat anxiety or as a general sedative.

This is another Benzodiazpine, it is commonly used to treat nerve and anxiety disorders, as a sedative and for some cases of insomnia.
Some common side effects my include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and irritability.
