Hello,

Based on my research, I believe you may be reffering to Methocarbomal; which is a muscle relaxant. It works by blocking nerve impulses (or pain sensations) that are sent to your brain.

Methocarbamol is also used together with rest and physical therapy to treat skeletal muscle conditions such as pain or injury. I'm not exactly sure how it would effect broken bones, that's something you would have to discuss with your doctor. One would think that it could help with pain by taking extra stress off of the muscles surrounding the bone(s).

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction to methocarbamol: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

If you have any of the following serious side effects, stop using methocarbamol and call your doctor at once:

fever, chills, flu symptoms, slow heart rate,
feeling like you might pass out,
seizure (convulsions), or
jaundice (yellowing of your skin or eyes).

Less serious methocarbamol side effects may include:

dizziness, spinning sensation, drowsiness,
headache, confusion, memory problems, loss of balance or coordination, nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, and more.

You can learn more about this drug on the page for Methocarbamol Details

If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you.
