Metformin And Blood Pressure Meds

is it safeto take this medicine if you are on blood pressure meds that also has a diaretic in it?

It really depends on the exact ingredient of the blood pressure medications.

I did check the interactions between Metformin and several of them and, so far, they have all come up with the same warning that if the patience experiences any type of renal impairment and dehydration, it can increase the likelihood of Lactic Acidosis.
