The right treatment depends on what's caused the sores.

This medication is classified as an antibiotic and the FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain.

However, it is only appropriate for treating bacterial infections. If your problem is caused by a virus or fungal infection, then this will not help.
