I can't get the brand that I normally use for chronic pain, Activas, Mallinzroot is lame. I fell like I am withdrawing.

Hello, Jim and Jay! How are you gents? I am very sorry that you're both having such a problem.

There have been quite a few complaints recently about their product.

If you can't locate an alternative, you might be better served to try a higher dosage or switch to a different medication, if your doctor agrees to it.

How long have you been taking the one from Mallinckrodt? There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to the next, so it might be slightly lower than the ones you were taking. In most cases, when the difference is slight, your body will adjust after about a week or so.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I have been taking Activas oxycodone for my Chronic pain most of this year. I had Mallinkroft 30s in 2012 1 time and I had same reaction. I would rather take Qualitest than Mallinkroft, but Activis is the best. I took Oxycontin for 3 months this year, then went into donut hole. Not Good.
