M50 White Round Tablet

Found mixed with rx bottle of Toprol XL 100mg EQ tabs. Bottle was labeled and contains Ethex brand eq tablets. The patient also has had Toprol XL 50mg and 100mg brand name tablets within the last year or so from more than one pharmacy. The m is very similar to the m on the toprol tablet with the AMO marking. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

There is actually more than one tablet with the M 50 marking, there is one that is Toprol, but several that aren't. Can you tell me if that tablet is scored?

I found a pill just like that and the one i have is scored on one side. I went to googles pics and typed in toprol, metprlol, and m50 and i couldnt find any pictures that matched what this pill looks like. Its coating kind of looks like it was painted on{its kind of shiny like white paint on the wall}

After calling the dispensing pharmacy, they confirmed it was Metoprolol 50 mg tablets.
