M Ckrodt Spec Oxycodone/tylenol 10/325

Updated

Did this manufacturer raise the price of this medicine in the last 4 weeks? I am not insured. I have been on this med long term. For the last 2 yrs I paid 96.?? for 180 pills, about 3 mos. ago the price went down to 81.?? I just went to get them today and the price was 223.24 for 180 pills the same amount I have always gotten. The store said it was the manufacturer raising the price. I can't afford more than 200.00 I could barely pay the Dr. and 80.00 for my script. How do I find out if the manufacturer actually raised the price or if the store is feeding me a line of crap? Any help would be great! Thank you!

hi I'm not sure exactly if they raised the price or not. I won't be surprised if they did since they have newly established FDA narcotic regulations. I am uninsured as well and just paid 209.00 for 14 OxyContin the other day. Hope this helps you a little but there are some free drug discount cards out there. You can actually go look right now and print yourself a card and they really do help with price, RX Relief and PDR.net are two I use. Also check prices at different pharmacies. good luck

The price is totally up the manufacturer and many have suddenly jumped in price.

As Karen has said, you may want to try looking into a discount card, since they really do help and you should also check with different pharmacies in your area, as the price can vary from one to the other.

However, you will need to actually go to the pharmacy to check, they won't tell you anything about a controlled substance over the phone.

This medication is a narcotic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Is there anything else I can help with?
