Lo Loestrin Fe Nausea

I am 16 and in my first month of taking loestrin. i have been sick to my stomach on and off every day since i started. I only at the end of my first week and am considering stopping especially after reading about the side effects of others. How long does nausousness last?

However, it's difficult to say how long it will last, because it can vary from person to person, but side effects to hormonal contraceptives like this may linger for as long as 2 to 3 months, while your body is adjusting to it.

Nausea and the other side effects you've read about are possible with any form of hormonal contraception, including the patches, shots and IUD.

The best thing to do would be to contact your doctor to discuss your concerns, that way they can help you fully evaluate the risks and benefits of taking it.

started taking Lo Loestrin Fe on aug 4 this is the 1st month I start taking it....I had no idea that you were suppose to take it the day you start your period or the sun of the same week. started my period on july 26 & had intercourse with my partner 5 days after started taking Lo Loestrin..what are the chances?
