What is the difference between Isosorb Mono 30mg Ertabs and ISOSORBIDE ER TABS 30MG? I ordered each from different labs with the same perscription and the look totally different. The Isosorb Mono 30mg Ertabs are small and round and white. The ISOSORBIDE ER TABS 30MG are larger and oblong and pink. Are the pills the same with slightly different names and appearences, or are the different perscriptions? I need to know before I continue to take either one of the pills.

They are the same, there is just no regulation requiring that they look the same, they can look however the manufacturer wants them to, so appearance is the only difference.

This drug is used primarily in the treatment of Agina Pectoris.

Common side effects may include: nausea, headache, drowsiness and loss of appetite.

The medication is contraindicated in patients Sildenafil, Propanolol and Sulfhydryls.

My mother has taken isosorb mono 30 mg G ER for a long, she is 91, and has Dementia, and congested heart failure, she was in a nursing home that kept her knocked out all the time, until she developed pneumonia, I got her to the hospital with fever of 103. they pulled her through, I took her to a different nursing home. With all this moving from place to place and the hospital thinking she was not going to make it, she was taken off most of her medicines, except nanenda 10mg, omeprazole cap 40mg, metoprolol 25mg, baby asprin, she had a bad fall, so I took her home to my home to take care of her, I was given this last list of meds to give her. She looks a little puffy around the eyes and I'm concerned that she needs the other meds she had been on, like Lisinopril 5mg, isosorb mono tab 30mg. My question is, do I put her back on these meds to avoid another attack of congested heart failure?
