i have been prescribed to OC 80's for 6 years now for my debilitating pain. i started taking them intranasally about a year back when i learned that it works much faster and better. i'm currently up to 4 a 5 a day. yesterday i got my script filled to learn that they had come out w/a new generic replacement that has OP on the side that used to say OC. i've tried everything in my power and nothing seems to work. taking these pills orally does NOTHING for me except make me feel tired and sick to my stomach and i had to stay home from work today because of this. i know there has to be a way to take these new generic pills and separate the plastic from the oxycodone, but have yet to learn what that way is. {edited for safety}

you cooked it too long


you have to watch it when you are cooking, really there should be no time limit on the 2nd burn, since every microwave varries.

heres what i do to make it work:

1. microwave for 5 minutes hole pile in a glass bowl (or cermic, i cant tell the diff)

pull it out and its gonna be HOTTTT

let it sit for 2 minutes (so you dont shater your bowl/plate)

put it in the freezer for 2.5 minutes (i changed the time he used)

pull it out and then get your dremel (i swear by these, i use a dremel on SOO many household things)

then use pliers to hold the OP XX and dremel it down into a bowl (bowl is key here, to catch all the flying particles)

then push all the debris into a pile
(use a credit card) (there will be white powder all over the bowl, dont waste any, were already loosing a disputed X% by cooking)

then cook it in the microwave again! but heres my change.

cook for 2 minutes. check it when done
cook for 2 minutes. watching the pile of ground up OXY
keep cooking from here, but watch watch watch.

once it turns brown, give it about 15 more seconds, maybe 25, maybe 10, depending on your microwave.

pull it out and let it sit for 2.5 minutes (to not shater your bowl)

next, put it in the BACK of the freezer, or the coldest part, i let mine sit for 20 minutes

then pull it out of the freezer and get a butter knife, you will have to scrape some of it off, and some will come naturally.

if its cold enough it will crush under a dollar bill, pushing with a cred card.

NOW YOUR THINKING :::: this looks like CRAP

take a little bit on your finger and taste it!

tell me it does not taste EXACTLY like a ROXY/OXY

actually the method does work. As long as you keep an eye on it. Just make sure it's in a smooth pile, finely grind the pill, and as soon as you see it turn brown keep scrapin it with a knife, let it cool, til finally all of it is brown and there is a ball of goo on your knife. It will cool and harden in five minutes. Then grind again and toot it. No gel, and same ol school drip.

They screwed so many of us over when they made the OPs. As determined as we all are to chase the feeling that we missed so much. I was a skeptic on this whole Microwave Freezer thing. But it works. The thing is people are trying the same thing and getting different results. This is because all our microwaves are running at different watts and our freezer temps are not all exactly the same. We have been given the basic steps, we just have to customize them for each of our microwaves and freezers.

I'm tellin ya all! Ped egg it, put it in2 a spoon, use a lighter or butaine torch(torch is like 30seconds) turnz brown stop (as soon as u c it turnin then jus flutter the torch as needed) then cool spoon wit ice or sumpin cold? Then scrape out of spoon with buttur knife or screw driver? Then re-ped egg it! Then sniff sniff sniff awaaaaayyy lol n joy folks!!!

The old oc "covering" has NOTHING to do with time release, the coating is simply to distinguish the pills apart, I know because I was involved in the manufacturing. If it was the time release factor then why does it come off in two seconds under water? The time release is always INSIDE the pill, what holds it together, what makes it dissolve slowly.

If people are talking about microwaving oxycodone pills..do you honestly think they are in the mind frame where they r guna read ur condescending post n think "u kno what! She's right! the microwave method works, just did it and first try it wasn't perfect but it still worked.

put the ground powder in a tin foil tray over med low heat in a skillet. Watch closley, as soon as the powder starts to change color, stop and put in freezer just long enough to cool. If you watch closely you can see the powder start to melt into a goo. This is all the cooking it needs. The lighter you can keep the powder, the better. The powder on the bottom will start to crystalize.
when you can tap the tray and the powder does not move, it is done. The lighter the color the better.

There IS a way to break them down. I've been using it for months now. You need a ped-egg, or something of the sort, a microwave-safe pyrex glass plate, and pliers. You use the ped-egg and pliers to get a nice, white, fluffy powder out of it...you put it on the plate EVENLY IN THE MIDDLE and NOT IN THICK CLUMPS...microwave until golden brown/black, then you put it in the freezer for about twenty minutes. When it gets out of the freezer, use paper towels to wipe away all condensation...then chip away at it and cut it up once more for a final, snortable product.

Hi. Robin I agree with you I was also an addict and bi-polar I used to inject any kind of oxycodone but I decided to go to a suboxone dr. And life is so much differant now its like I was in the dark and now things are bright and things that didn't excit me while addicted are exciting! Its truly a lifesaver. Good luck to all my fellow addicts please consider suboxone or subutex you will see what I mean.

haha i do not belive for 1 sec you are prescribed to all that s**t southern meds or whatever. there is no way in hell a doctor with a legit medical license is gonna prescribe u 80s,60s,40s,20s, and fentanyl patches 100mcg and 50mcg. its not happening your a flat out liar, why lie?? i was born with spina bifada and have nerve damage in my legs, chronic pain all my life prob way worse than urs, in and out of the hospital all the time, doing 30 day stays, and im only on the 100mcg and 150 perc tens. its rare for someone to be on fentanyl and oxycontin, but it happens. but never does anyone be on as much s**t as u say ur on, ur a joke!!

i tried it and it works. still gels a little. u were right bout the powder looking alot less. i did it to a sixty and at most it has the effects of a oc 40. and people are tryin to charge the same price on the mg like they are oc's. Its bulls**t.

get em wet take the coating off use a hose clamp as a file to grind the op once it has dried from the saliva in your mouth grind up a small amount then move over an inch and grind another small amount, keep doing this till you are at as much as you wanna sniff. The reason for moving it is when its in a large pile of powder the plastic agents kinda stick back together so you get chunks not powder. And you only have one chance to sniff before your nose is stuffed but the first time is effective. The sniffing after the first line will just result in nose congestion. So make a big thin line and sniff away. Or just take coating off and let sit under your tongue till it dissolves most of the way then just swallow the rest. idk either way op s are very cheap now and if you can get an 80 for 20 bucks may as well get more milligrams while they are cheap eventhough they suck compared to the originals.
