Ip 112 Vs Watson Generic Lortab

I just got the ip 112 tablets from my pharmacy they switched from watsons. This new kind makes me go through withdrawal symptoms like i'm taking nothing but Tylenol! They are so much weaker than the watson brand. There is not anything I can do about it but hope after several days my body adjust to this weaker brand. I never take more than three a day. Why is this kind so different than the Watson brand? I feel awful right now and it is not fair because I did nothing wrong!

There can be slight fluctuations in generic medications. If you were taking the Watson ones for a long time and then suddenly got these ones and they're a little lower in the Hydrocodone, it could be causing you to experience such issues.

These contain 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, is that the same dosage you were taking of the others?

Eventually, all of them will be lowered to only contain a maximum of 325mgs of the Acetaminophen per dose. due to a request from the FDA. Prolonged use of high doses of Acetaminophen has the potential to cause liver damage or failure, there have also been instances of overdose due to its use in the medications.

Yes I was on the Watson kind for almost two years. These new ones are awful. I've been so sick! I know about the lowering of the part of the medicine for liver reasons etc. I've had many brands because my back has been messed up for well over ten years. This brand by far is the worst. It tears my stomach up still. I've gone 7 days on these ones and yes it is the same dose. Do I call the pharmacy or my doctor?.
