I Go To Methadone Clinic They Do A 15 Panel Drug Screen And Send It The Lab Will Soma Show Up

I go to the methadonr clinic every day and take 85 mg of it i at 4 somas and had a 15 panel drug screan and they srnt it to the lab will i fail my drug screan or will i be ok.

I just did a urine drug screen, take SOMA (prescribed) and it did show up on the panel.

I was on a clinic for 8 years and never showed Soma, which I've been on for 10yrs.

No, Soma does not show up. I have been testing for parole, and the methadone clinic for the last 10 years and it has never shown up. The only time Soma will ever show up is if the actually write Soma on the lab paper to be tested for and send it a lab specifically asking to test for SOMA.

I wonder what kind of testing you all are getting- as I had a UA test yr before last, and not only did *Soma* show up- but it said 2 different kinds! The test I got differentiated between 2 'manufacturers' (!!!) Go figure! I could only account for 1 prescription; guess I was lucky somehow! Another example of the DEA's "superiority" & control..

Drug tests cant differentiate between different kinds of soma. Its impossible. Although two different substances could have shown up, as everyone is different and could get different results from the same substance.

I also attend a methadone clinic, so im answering this from knowledge and personal experience. Soma is a barbituate and as far as i know it should show up as such, but this is one that can show up differently with different people. I used to take half of a soma at a time and i failed a test at a state run clinic and also at a hospital for benzos. I told the clinic i never took any benzo, only soma and they proceeded as if i were admitting to taking soma in addition to the "benzo" i had showed positive for. I was discharged for non-compliance since they have a zero-tolerance policy for benzodiazapines.

Everyones body processes things differently and excreted metabolites can be flagged as something they are not. Ive heard of this happening before and i wish that i would have simply denied using benzos and insisted on a retest or confirmation, which my clinic provides with a 30$ fee which is refundable in the case that theyre wrong.

( I now know that when my clinic sends it off for confirmation, they dont actually find out the exact metabolites of a substance. All they do is simply confirm or deny the original result in which case i wouldve been fine. )

Soma turns into soboxone or subutext, I dont no how but it does and I was cut cold and blackballed from my DR bcuas of it. So whatever these people think that they no about soma FORGET IT!!!!soma metabolizes into active ingredient in subutex aand suboxone.

You are dreaming. If a real lab test is done (GC/MS) it will be deadly accurate. Soma will not turn into anything. If a cheap stick test is done, then anything is possible. (GC/MS means gas chromatograph / mass spectrometer.) Nothing gets by those tests but they must be specifically ordered. They also are expensive. Good luck.

I took soma and it showed positive for Buprenorphine. The Dr. sent it out for confirmation. Not once but twice I tested positive for Buprenorphine and the only thing I had taken was Soma. I was cut from my Dr. Immediately. I used to take soma and it would never test, but those were the old days. BEWARE IF U TAKE SOMA WITHOUT A PRESCRIPTION IT WILL RUIN YOU!!!

Soma is not a benzo is is in a whole other class of drugs.

LOL...im sorry but chances are you were given a subutex not a soma bc this is just not possible. 2 completely different drugs all together not to mention they are so far from the same class of drug it's out of this world to imagine a soma came up as a suboxone or subutex...sorry this happened to you but id say it was a case of being given the wrong pill vs failing for suboxone after taking a soma. JS...
