Hello, Davey! How are you? Thank you for making such a helpful post.

The FDA classifies Norco as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Are there any questions or concerns?

I found that the yellow football shaped marked with a v on 1side & 36 01 work best for me

Hahaha too funny! Obviously you're either a company representative or you've never taken a decent brand of generic Norco to know the difference. I tend to think it's the former since you stated the U03 Aurolife Norcos "work best." (That infers you've compared/contrasted something. If you'd have said they "work well" then that'd be more general and open to interpretation as to whether you were comparing it to another brand or not.) NO ONE I've ever spoken to who's taken the Aurobindo / Aurolife norcos has liked them. I'm fact, it's the complete opposite- they hate them because that don't work and have bad side effects.

Is there ANYONE it here that has good results with their chronic pain relief from white norco U03? I just got this script noticed it was not my normal yellow hyrdrcodone 10 mg. I of course googled it and am reading. That its crap and doesn't work. Sorry, I did read 1 good review from a person who took 3 at once...I'm afraid to take it but my pain is unbearable!!

Re: Frustrated (# 7) Expand Referenced Message

The name of the yellow Norco generic is Qualitest, recommended by my pharmacist.

How right you are! I just wrote a rather lengthy "reply" to a post in part to WARN people about this fake, defective possibly dangerous crap that I was given with no warning- made by AUROBINDO PHARMA. I found out this crap is made in INDIA- NO pain relief & made me sick! It was supposed to be norco 10-325. Absolutely something terrible wrong with it.

I've taken just about all of the generic Norco, including the U03. I haven't noticed much difference in any of them. I currently take 10 mg Malinkrodt with M367 on one side. They work as well as any other I've had. The yellow Qualitest are hard and difficult to break in half. But they work ok too. I think a lot depends on the individual as to how they work. I have had some before I didn't like. Then another time get the same, and they were ok. I figured it was my systems tolerance level fluctuating.

Re: Dekbee (# 11) Expand Referenced Message

I have been UNFORTUNATE enough to get " BAD " norco ( defective, doesn't work & awful headaches) from 2 different pharmacies, for the last 2 months. I have real chronic pain issues ! Have been miserable - bottom line is, I DON'T want it to happen again - so before I ask my Dr to possibly change me to oxycodone - I really NEED TO KNOW if people are having any of the same " problems" with this medication, similar to the DEFECTIVE norco. I just need some pain relief THIS time, & not have to be fearful that I'll get ANOTHER defective medication. Thank you for some HONEST feedback. It sounds like there's only 2 generics for norco 10-325 that AREN'T defective, which is what I have been taking for a good while - NEVER had any problems with it, until recently when the so- called FDA started allowing these fake or defective norco to flood the general population, especially if you don't have a lot of money. I'M hoping for some good, honest advice - don't need any fake advice from Vernon or Davey ! ( it's obvious to some of us that this person is a " MOLE" for the drug companies or pharmacy !! )

Re: Lynn Pain (# 12) Expand Referenced Message

Lynne, Verwon and David generously offer their time, look up our meds, offer advice, but are not doctors and NOT moles put in here to benefit the pharmaceutical companies. Just because one does not agree or get the answers they want to hear, does not mean these two are moles with nefarious intent. The more you read, you find out that Verwon has her own chronic issues. I believe this is your knee jerk response to these two, but in time you'll see they sincerely mean well and have NO ulterior motive. They answer questions very patiently, and take into account that the rough posting style of many posters is due to chronic pain and frustration. Peace. JMJ

Re: JMJ (# 13) Expand Referenced Message

You would be wrong! I have read many, many posts before I ever commented! Not ONCE did I ever hear Verwon EVER say they have pain issues of their own. They answer every post as if they think they are a pharmacy tech. Same way some of these lying pharmacy people tell you when they're handing you one of these defective meds. Not surprised "someone" jumping to there defense, there are often a little group of "moles" on these sites, sticking up for the big money pharmacies or drug companies - to try & throw people off. So, carry on. Those of us that have had REAL bad reactions to some of these defective meds, know what we're talking about, from terrible (should be illegal) personal experience.

Re: Anna (# 6) Expand Referenced Message

Yes you will have to take 3 at a time if it's Malinkroft generic or some other crappy generic, the crap is downright JUNK! I really believe some of these pharmacies are getting them off the blk market. I've had a pharmacist that used to dip into my Oxycodones, I'd count them when I got home and 20 would be missing, call up and tell him, no questions, he's like "come back up we'll get you fixed up" so it was HIM, he never denied that I was lying or anything in which I wasn't. Anyway, who's to say a pharmacist doesn't take the good Norcos or any other narcotic and replace them with pure junk off the black market, you know what I mean and they in turn take them and use them themselves and sell them on the street. It could very well be possible, I don't trust anyone anymore in any position any where. Too much greed in the world and too many junkies. It's pretty good when your pharmacist takes 20 of your pills, right? I didn't report, suppose I should have because NO one miscounts by 20!

Re: Verwon (# 1) Expand Referenced Message

I just read this. I’m a pain patient and I’m here to tell you that whatever changes were made to this narcotic is so bad that it barely covers break through pain. They used to. Now before you say I’m tolerant. No that is not the case. I don’t double up on the meds or take any different then prescribed. The manufacturers have made so many changes that I have to incorporate ibuprofen along with it and the ibuprofen is so hard on my stomach so I will have to go off Norco and onto another breakthrough pain medicine.

Re: Piktuk (# 4) Expand Referenced Message

Has to be a rep. I will no longer ever accept any of the junk that some of these pharmacies sell. Mallinkrodt being one of the WORST brands out there for Norco generic. It is full of nothing but fillers I really doubt that there is any pain medication in them. The don't even touch my pain and only make me feel really freaking sick and blah. I think they stopped making the yellow ones as I heard the government's reasoning in this was that the druggies were calling them "yellows." Really? Wow, well I guess they can call them whites now. I think the best brand available now is Watson for whatever that is worth. I believe some pharmacies are buying off the black market and that these off brands don't even contain pain medication and that is pretty damn sad. People are suffering in pain so these greedy b******ds can make a dime.

Re: JMJ (# 13) Expand Referenced Message

Thank you JMJ for taking the time to respond on behalf of myself, Verwon and others who take time to share information. For the record, I am not the "davey" who started this discussion thread. However, I do try my best to leave helpful responses or feedback to a multitude of posts on this site. You are right, we are not doctors (or at least I'm not one)... I can also understand why some people have gotten frustrated about the "davey" who started this thread, but in reality they are just offering their own personal opinion. I've seen many of your posts on MedsChat as well and sincerely appreciate your honesty, integrity and open mind. Thanks for helping make these threads a better place through your participation.

~Wishing you good health always!

Re: Debbie (# 5) Expand Referenced Message

The white ones are pure trash, Mallinckrodt is the manufacturer and I believe the market has definitely been flooded with tons of blank black market pills that these pharmacies are buying. Don't trust all pharmacists either as I had one that would keep shorting me on Oxycodone when I used to take it. I'd get shorted anywhere from 5 to 20 and call and tell them and he'd get right on the phone and be super nice and say 'oh so sorry come on back up and we'll get you fixed up.' Who is to say that they're not putting the real ones in their possession and giving out blank sugar pills. Something is def wrong and not on the up and up. Don't waste your money on the Mallinckrodt crap, it will only make you sick and will not help any pain! I am sure it's what is causing your foot pain. (wink, wink) After thousands of complaints you'd think someone would be investigating, but no one is so this is very strange. The NY Times needs to do an in depth investigation and get these Mallinckrodt pills tested and finally expose this black market ring.

Re: EH (# 2) Expand Referenced Message

Watson is 1st in my book and M367 is good too but it all depends on where and how your pain is on your body.

Re: Dekbee (# 11) Expand Referenced Message

Can't be any worse than Mallinkrodt! It is the worst! I haven't gotten yellow's in over a year. All the pharmacies around where I live only ever have this crap Mallinkrodt. I would definitely be leery of anything from india though. These pharmacies don't care about helping pain, the only thing they care about is money. Greed has taken precedent over everything in every industry in the world. I seriously believe there is a massive fraud ring going on with these junk pills. If the manufacturer is producing authentic Hydrocodone then it's being switched out somewhere along the line, like who delivers it to the warehouse for distribution? What happens when it gets to the distribution center or are they being shipped directly to pharmacies from the facility of manufacture? How do we find this information out? We're talking mega bucks here, millions upon millions of dollars. If someone is switching them out, where is the FDA in this matter? I know for a fact that every med chat, drug chat, etc...there are tons of people complaining about these pills not working!

Re: Anna (# 6) Expand Referenced Message

The ONLY brand that is on the market right now is Mallinckrodt and it doesn't matter how many you take they don't work. There is absolutely no pain medication in them, chalk pills is what they are, ask anyone who is prescribed hydrocodone. Apparently there is no such thing as the real authentic Norco because the pharmacies don't have and will not order for you. Mallinckrodt chalk pills is the only thing available in 10/325. Something is so amiss with this situation. We suffer is serious pain and the CDC has doctors so scared this is all they will give you but it's NOT legit, there is NO pain medication in these white chalk pills. I read on another post a guy had his researcher scientist friend analyze one and there was only like .0003 percent of the actual pain med in it when it should be at LEAST 7 to 12 percent!!! BUSTED #Mallinckrodt there will be huge lawsuits over this.
