How Long Does Percocet Stay In Your System (Page 5)

I took Percocet last Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I took a UA today (Saturday) and I want to know if I will be clean?

First of all, let me suggest you go get help to detox before you try to find a job. Your regimen of intake is dangerous because you are mixing narcotics with alcohol. I am not preaching at you, just suggesting that you make some good choices and change your lifestyle. Or you never will find a job and will be needing more and more drugs! JMHO

At one time, I was a registered drug tester and most tests now include just about any and every street and prescribed narcotic that you can imagine. If you are taking a drug for a medical condition, tell the tester and it will be listed on your profile. So if it comes back positive for a prescribed drug, you should be OK.

Allow me to correct you, if I may, regarding drug tests at pain clinics. They also check levels of the meds they prescribe in order to see if you are overusing them. Many folks get kicked out of these clinics for going to other docs for pain meds. Pain clinic docs have patients sign an agreement to not obtain pain meds/narcotics from any other source than from the pain clinic prescribing doctor! I also am a pain clinic patient, so I know the rules!

I must be missing something. Are you concerned the doc won't write for more as you should have more left? Be honest with him... Also, be aware that overuse of narcotics does not mix well with anesthesia! You may not wake up! If you are having such a problem with taking too much meds, talk with your doc. If he is a decent physician, he can help you or get you help from the right place! Good luck!

Not true Ray. When I take any kind of pain medicine I do not get sleepy at all. I can stay up for two days. I have a rare bone disease and I can take more than 15 pills that are 10mg and be okay. Everyone's body is different. One pill may knock out someone and than someone can take more than 100mg and be up. My pills do not have APAP in them it is pure Oxycodone.

i've been going to a pain manag doc for over a year now i have crps its a nerve condition anyway i can vouch they test for every drug and they test for amount i know for sure because im norm on exalgo aka 24hr time release dilaudid 32 mg p/d plus i get 4mg fast acting dilaudid for breakthrough back in july i have a emerg partial hysterectomy and the hosp didnt have the ex so the subed 12hr time released oxy for the ex i only got two doses but when i went to my pain doc two weeks later i got hit with the random test i showed pos for the oxy but they could tell by the amount that it was leaving my system now im freakin because my workcomp is company was just changed and the new comp is dragin their feet on letting me have my scripts ive been out of fast act for two days now and i really needed relief so i got some norm release perc from my stepdad (i forgot i have t/r morphine still) but i have taken like 8 10mg of them in two days and my next pain apt is in 3 weeks thanks to holidays if they test me will i piss dirty? i cant afford to lose my w/c or my doc can someone help me out here please?

yes maddy the perc will still be in yolur body but not active anymore you will be fine taking the new meds from the doc i have major experience when it comes to pain meds i've had 12 surgeries and i have nasty case of nerve damage my prob is no experience with drug test until now lol

damnjackie your tolerance took time to build up it takes time to drop back down it depends on your system but in my case i had such a tolerance for darvies that i could swallow 6 100mg at a time and get minor effect it took 4 years of being off them completely before they worked for me again and my tolerance came back super fast good luck hope your next surgery is the one that works for you

I work in a pain management clinic and we test to see if you have ANY drugs in your system. We test for anything from Klonopin to Cocaine.

I took 5 percocets week ago and a few tabs which I have a script for the tabs. I have a hair test test in a week and a half. No prior use. Will I be ok?

Suboxone does not show up on a typical drug test. There needs to be a specific test goven which is costly and very rare.

I take about a 30mg percocet a day for the last couple of months, at least. some days I take more. how long until I would be able to pass a simple urine test?

If the last one you took was really on the 28th then yes you should be fine. I always give myself at least 3 to 4 days then you are clean but you have have plenty of time you are good!!

I ran out of my prescription hydrocodon, and wasn't see the doc for another week. I took some oxycodone for that week and now I'm being asked to UA. Will they be able to distinguish between the two on a standard UA?

I hope your right. I just did the same thing but only took 15mg of percocet. I haven't heard anything one way or another yet, but it's been several days now since my test and they have not said anything that I passed or failed, but not sure if they have the results back yet. If yourr Right, you are my new hero Melynda. At least gave me hope and made me feel alittle less paranoid. :)
