I need to know how many days a percocet, roxicodone or oxycodone stay in ur system for a urine test?

I'm perscribed hydros and took percs thinking they would just show opiums. Nope. I was wrong. Lost my script because I was taking oxycodone instead of my hydros.

I took 80mg of roxys around 8 or 8:30 Monday night. I have a drug test for probation Wednesday at 11 a.m. I started taking niacin and drinking water that night and have been since. What's my chances of passing do you think?

That is correct. Hydrocodone and Oxycodone do show absolutely differently. This is because the test doesn't test for the presence of an opiate, it tests for the presence of the chemical that is created when the oxy or hydro is metabolized. Those two create different metabolites.

Does anybody actually read these posts? Or do they just randomly blurt out questions? Maybe try reading first, you might just find the answer you're looking for. But I'm sure nobody will actually read this either, so all I've managed to do is accelerate my carpel tunnel.

I do read them. The problem is..... no body else does....and to get someone to actually come back and tell what did happen after they ask the question is unheard of. You might get one person to come back out of a thousand. It don't help that way either. With your Carpal Tunnel.... to be honest....... the best way to treat it..... is to acutally let them release that nerve in your hand honey. I am a disabled nurse and have watched them release it several times in office. It is amazing how they do it. It looks like a white rubber band they release. They are painful indeed when they start acting up. I have delt with the same problem with mine since I was 20 years old. Repetitive motion in that hand is what does it...... and when you sleep of a night is when it aches the most. Or mine did. Mine got so bad that it hurt all the way up into my shoulder. Yeah.... Resting it is the the only other option you have but if your like me I could never afford to be off work long enough to rest the thing. The pain meds help to an extent but never really help..... totally. Having the surgery will fix it. It can be done in the office of a Orthopedic. While your awake if you find a decent one to do it. No it dont hurt. They acutally will pump your arm up with what looks like a blood pressue machine... to which is kinda is .....cutting off the blood supply to the arm and then do it. When you think you can take no more then they are done. That is how it works. The last man I seen it done on..... he had all 5 fingers done.....something the Dr did not want to do but the man insisted on doing he did all 4 fingers and did the trigger thumb also. All looked like 5 white rubber bands. He clipped loose the scar tissue around it and freed them and he was done. Put in 2 stitches and then let them loose. It was amazing needless to say. He give him pain pills for 3 days told him to use Tylenol after that and the man come back in a week for stitches and did great! So good luck honey. I hope this helped in some way. The man said he got immediate relief and wish he did it 30 years earlier.

I have been prescribed narcotics for a spinal injury for the past 12 years, have been prescribed and tested for about every opiate based medication there is since then and I can tell you for a FACT that if you are not prescribed the medication and dont want to fail your drug screen you had better not only allow yourself 24 hours because you will fail! If it is just a simple in house test it will only test for the presence of the drug, but if it is sent off to a lab and tested then even for a few days after the narcotic itself is no longer detectable they WILL still find the metabolites and you will fail the test. Also oxycodone does NOT just show up as an opiate, it shows up as an opiate and oxycodone. I am a patient of a pain clinic and have been tested time and time again because of the amount of morphine and roxicodone/oxycode that I am prescribed due to severer injuries to my upper cervical so I know this for a FACT. If you just take one or two pills one time you may pass but depending on your metabolism, amount of water intake, activity, ect. you may not so if you want to be safe allow yourself no less than 4 or 5 days, otherwise you are playing Russian Roulette with you drug screen... FACT!!!

Oxycodone does not come up as opiate. It comes up as oxycoten. 100% fact.

If u only took 2 roxys or even 5 pills will only be in your system up to 48 hours drink 8 glasses of water the nite before your drug test and a glass of cranberry juice the day of your test but dont give them your first pee give them the second pee and u will be perfecr hope this helps or for further times.

Lab test is trickier. The panel tests you will pass quicker because there is a cutoff line but at a lab they can detect smaller amounts. I know for me with panel tests I am able to pass with a one day break. Like let's say I did heroin Monday- Wed,as long as I don't use after noon on Wed I would pass a drug test Thursday at noon, but it might be tougher if they send it to the lab because of the fact they are able to detect much smaller amounts than a panel test.

If it's a panel test 24 hours is all that is needed. But if it is sent to a lab it will stay longer. And the panel tests also test for the metabolites, no drug test tests for the narcotic itself. The reason panel tests can be passed quicker is because there is a cutoff of a certain ng/ml where if it is sent off to a lab they can detect much smaller traces of the metabolites in the urine. Morphine codeine heroin all show as opiate because they all metabolize into same thing. Than test will also test fir hydros, oxys, methadone, and sometimes buphenephrine because all those metabolize differently. It always tests for the metabolites so search for what your taking metabolized into, figure out the half life of that metabolite, And figure out what the cutoff for that metabolite is abd you can get a decent idea of how long it will take to test negative.

I used the day before a DOT drug test. 24 hours after taking 20 milligrams of oxycodone i past by drinking a bunch of water and caffeine to pass it through my system very quickly.

For anyone who takes a rapid result drug test-- carefully they are not accurate!! Do not let your probation officer or in my case pre-trail agent scare you with a "rapid result"!! I fought it in court!!

I took a total of 90 mgs of oxycodone sat and sunday (little blues),,,took last at 12:40 pm on Sunday and have a 12/13 panel urine test at 1pm this thursday. Is the 96 hours I have enough time to pass? Please someone with good knowledge. I just bought b12 and I will drink lots of water.

I just took a urine test which tested for 10 different drugs including oxycodone. I took 30mg 3 days prior and passed.

I've read that false positives for roxi or OxyContin are common when you take Norco or hydrocodone. Well...it happened to me. The doc cut me off despite the fact that I have never taken any form of oxy. Apparently it has something to do with the way individuals metabolize meds. Should I try and explain this to her or find another doc. I really liked her and followed all rules re: opoid use.
