I have taken 35mg of methadone today, and i have a urine drung test coming up, how long will it take to get out of my urine?

if you used H right before you went in for the test and if it was a urine test...it takes a couple hours before it gets in to your urine, that could be the reason for the negative test.

if it was a urine test strip then it was a faulty test, For sure. there is no way that 100mg of methadone was still in his system after 2 months, No F***ing way. unless it was a hair test. must have been a false positive.

I took 20 mg for the first time and I found out that I have an up-coming drug test. I don't have the fastest metabolism since I am nearing the age of 50. I am drinking plenty of fluids, so with these bits of details can someone please tell me how long I have to wait to get a negative result?

well 20mg is not a very big dose but like u said your metabolizem and age will surely affect the amount of time i would say couple good weeks of sucking in lots of water if you only did it the 1 time. depending on what kind of test it s your doing blood test to a lab good chance they might see it , just a simple piss test u have good chance

Yes... I had taken some Methadone for about 2 weeks... about 40 mg a day... and 2 weeks later when I went in for my "monthly" scripts from my doctor, the piss test said that I had Methadone in my system.

I take about 250 mgs. Once a week on Friday and do nothing for the rest of the week ,I stay clean from saturday to friday again how long will the methadon be in my urine if I use once a week

I have taken a total of 120mg (10mg pills) in just under week. My pm dr switched me from 120 mg of morphine and 30 mg of oxycodone a day to this methadone which by the way I'm scared to death of! My question is I stopped taking the methadone last night I have surgery on Monday morning at 10:30 am to have some discs in my neck fused so I will be having anesthia. Just a little over 72 hrs away will this methadone affect my surgery? I do not plan on taking it ever again after reading and scowering the Internet for hrs I've come to learn methadone is some pretty scary stuff:( so will the methadone still be present enough in my system to react with the anesthesia or any other meds I may be given while under? I can't sleep or eat with anxiety building as surgery day closes in, not knowing if I will pull through or die like so many others have:( god bless you all,and any help is greatly appreciated

I was on methadone maintenance for 3 years @ 125 mg daily, I was asked to leave because of constant positive benzo urines and they dropped me 10 mg a day. I luiclily found a doctor who prescribed me 60 mg a day a for another 3 years. He retired and no other doc would help the dirty junkie. The withdrawal is a friggin' nightmare. Hallucinations and legs kickin. It was as if I were in an extreme collision and lie on the couch for a month. I couldn't drive for another month after that. I used to kick h with x's in a few days. You can get it out of your system relatively fast by drinking gigantic amounts of water. I put lemon in it just for an additive. You don't want to drown yourself, but for the first few days after use force yourself to drink. I have terrible chronic pain but have been labelled an addict. Doctors run when you mention pain and you're under 70! Where do do that this label will not follow? Back to the clinic with every psycho I ever knew is hanging out? Back to the underworld? I have been stable for about 5 months with a small amount of pain killer but it is coming to an end. I work a full time job, have a daughter and wife. I would advise any young addict to keep your mouth shut about being addicted with any doctor outside of a clinic or counseling. Once you are branded you are an outcast.

Go to rxlist and you will see that Methadones' half-life is like 128 hours; like 5 days and a few hours, and that is just half the drug out of your system. To my knowledge this is the longest of any water-based pill

You have to drink a lot of cold, clear water. I am serious. If you increase your water uptake by double you will clean it out. when I am facing a test I will even drink a large glass before going to sleep and get up and piss all night. I know too well the consequences of having some a**hole telling me that I have a dirty urine. The opiate game is coming to a close I fear--there are way too man y new people destroying everyone around them. When your sick...you take care of it like an addict...not by emptying your grandmother's life savings. No wonder the law is in an uproar.

I took 220 mg in 2 days, and 18 days later the methadone is still showing up on a drug test, and i only took it for 2 days
