Sorry, My post # 41 was meant as a response to #24 Kim's post. I just wanted to give her my story.
Also, when my wife told me what the Anesthesiologist told her, I completely lost it, thats why I took such drastic measures.

Have you taken anything else? I heard a long time ago and don't know if it's true but there's certain things that you drink (not alcohol) like right before a rest that can cause you to fail and show you been taking drugs that you're not using, I can't remember what exactly but it was some kinda high caffeine drink that I don't think they make anymore, I wish I could be more help, only other thing I can think of is if you took something else similar or took something you thought was something else, maybe someone gave you and lied or didn't know what it was for sure.

I have been on methadone for 10 years off and on. It has always taken 36 hours to get methadone out of your system. Alot of of the drug test still do not test for methadone. I have took alot of drug test for jobs,house arrest, and methadone clinic and the clinic is the only place that it shows up.

Some people (dealers) mix there dope with methadone which would cause u to show up POS...

I was on 600mg of Methadone ever other day, I alomst died and was in ICU for 4 days and in the hospital completely for 8 days while in the hospital they cut me down to 30mg a day. Two weeks later I got into a Suboxeone program and they asked me to stop the Methadone and gave me a perscription for Percocet, I did the Percocet for 5 days and then was able to be put on the Suboxeone, today has been one week, I was feeling great until I went into the office for an appt and drug screen and thinking that I was doing so good, low and behold they informed me that I STILL HAVE METHADONE in my system, talk about a let down, so definantly Methadone can stay in your system for awhile, it is sad because I know that I haven't done anything but it is still there. WOW

Im sorry it takes 72 hours for methadone to get out of your system and it takes footballs about 24 to 48 hours to get out of your system as long as you dont take them everyday. If you take alot of footballs in a day they will get out fast just dont take them everyday or it will take about 10 to 15 days to get them out

They do not show up the same. Methadone shows up as methadone if they give you the right test. Most of the time they dont test for methsdone. The oxy shows up as oxy

i have taken 10 to 40 mg of mehtadone daily for the last 2 yrs off and on. i bought some dipstick drug tests and tested positive for it for 21 days. the 22nd day it was gone....
i didnt drink until pee was totally clear but i do drink alot of iced tea and it was very fainltly yellow urine.

If its your 1st time going to a suboxone Dr. it doesnt matther what is in your system the only time it matters is after your in the program you will be tested each time you go so if your just none starting dont worry about anything I am in a suboxone myelf I know how it works Hope this help
