How Long Does Fentanyl Stay In Your System For A Urine Test

On Saturday I chewed a half of a 75 mcg fentanyl patch for the first time ever. Will it be in my system on Monday around 11:00 am for a urine test?

Same prob here. I that fent only stays in urine for 8-24 hrs but I guess we will see. Just gave sample. Won't know till after lab gets it

They sent it to a lab. It's been like 12 days I don't think it takes that long for it come back. If it's negative they won't tell me.only if it's positive... did u get yours back yet from lab. I what's going on with yours

not true when I was on methadone and took benzos I was" ua"d and my" positive came back in 4day's cuz I was put on protocol. ..but while I took another" ua" to stop protocol it took 8-9days to come back

I've been on the 50mcg Fent patch. I had a drug test last month and even after the patch was off for 3 days It still shows up on a siliva test. And yes it says it's Fentanyl NOT morphine like ppl have posted it saying it would. Give yourself two weeks without any patch to be clean on a test. Just wanted to share my experiance since I read so many Wrong posts!! I'm in pain management and I'm given Meds however the patch was given to me by the hospital and the dr questioned me Big time! It's like eatting an orange and saying it will say I had an apple. If you take any Fent it WILL show up in urine and saliva tests!!!!!! I wish someone told me the truth. Hope this helps someone !

Most pills and powders, i.e cocaine, molly (ecstasy, mda, mdma) stay in your system for 3 to 7 days. They exit the system faster because they are water soluble. Marijuana takes around 30 days cuz it stores in fat cells.

Hi...I put a used-72-hours 25 mcg Fentanyl patch in my mouth sublingually for a day and a half until there was just plain plastic in my mouth. Surprisingly, that old patch had a little Fentanyl left on it...I could tell because it tastes bitter. I did not have a urine test until 28 days later. Is there ANY chance any of that Fentanyl (metabolites, etc.) showing up a whole 28 days later? I have been non-compliant on a couple of tests until they increased my dose of Dilaudid. I know they use Aegis Laboratories. I think they also utiluze Gas Chromatograph Mass Spectrometry testing and/or the most sensitive tests currently available. I am SCARED TO DEATH, but sincerely hope I am okay. Please respond. Thank you so much in advance for your consideration and help. :-)

I buccally ingested a Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals brand of a Fentanyl 25 mcg/hr X 72 hrs transdermal system that had already been worn for 72 hours (not on me). I used it for approximately 20 hours..although I'm sure the system had absolutely no Fentanyl left in it or in the surface. I was tested by urinalysis exactly 28 days later. The laboratory utilized by my pain management clinic is Aegis Laboratories..and I'm also confident that the lab uses GC/MS technology when analyzing the urine. Will THAT test come back negative? Oh, I fervently hope so.

you people are insane to be messing with these patches like that,,,bad enough when you rely on them for Chronic pain, and one like you are who are making it hard for the ones who really need this to survive!! Your playing with DEATH,but im sure you already know that!!!!!

Using any kind of drug for recreational reasons, I always said junkies can always tell you the best ones, methods of introduction into the body, etc. However, bottom line is, if you are doing them as prescribed and honestly, you have no worries. I have cancer, and doctors aren't stingy, and want to inflict pain by NOT writing scripts for stubbed toes, they have taken oaths to help. And most people aren't showing up for help. They show up for narcotics. Period.

It also depends on the condition of your liver. If you have or had hep c or other liver damage it takes longer (much longer) to process the drugs. FACT!!

Been test, and fent does show up on a drug screen, it is dependent on what kind of test the Dr is using. A UA will show it and takes a longer time because they send it for further testing to break it down to what type: patch, pill or intravenous. How long is completely dependent on your weight, health, water intake, and your bodily functions. So there IS NO MAGIC NUMBER of when your clean. If you aren't supposed to have it stop taking it!
