How Can You Crush New Oxycontin (Page 2)

I have the new oxycontin and it seems undoable to crush and take them - anybody know anything about that?

i have been taking this drug for over 2 years now. 60mg 3x daily. my metabolism worked so fast that i had to take it 3x to deal with the pain. on top of that, i have been taking 6 norco 10/325 per day at the same time. the oxycontin at first was a pain reliever, but VERY soon started to just become something that made me a space cadet, and i had been taking 8-10 vicodin a day before this. i ended up losing my job. oxycontin just seemed to rob me of all my ambition and energy, among other things. i realize it wasn't just the drug, but still at this point the oxy just gets me through withdrawl symptoms. the norco, 2 10/325 at a time, 3 times daily actually makes my pain go away.

after losing my job, i went to the dr and have had him lower my oxy scrip from 60 mg 3x daily to 40 mg 3x daily, and will wean down from there. i am just sick of being a slave to this drug. i have degenerative disc disease, and one of the discs burst and left disc matter in my nerve root. i will always have pain. if i can get back to taking 8 norco a day, i'll be happy. i'm miserable now.....

Hey Oxylifesaver, to say that "u smile at the fact that a bunch of people are going through withdrawls from abuse" is a very cold hearted thing to say, what if someone said im smiling that ur suffering with a disease called CANCER. Yeah people may abuse this drug but its usually because of a disease called ADDICTION. If you think about it, its the same thing YOU didnt ask for cancer, and im sure atleast more than half of the abusers dont ask to become a addict. Like Bob stated he just wants it in his system faster, If somebody wants to snort it thats there buisness for there own personal reasons (for example BOB). The pharm. companys should give the user or abuser that option. Its there life not urs. you have no clue whats going on in there life and why they r useing r abuseing. I really feel sorry for people like you. I truly hope you can beat your CANCER and i wish there was a cure. People like you ecspecialy if your dieing from cancer should get a check for a million dollars from our goverment. its just not nice to say "your smiling at someone whos suffering" ecspecially if you dont have a clue! Thats just my opinion......

That's pretty sadistic to revel in another humans misery, yand then act like you speak from an ethically superior position, pathetic. And its the fault of recreational drug users, its the terrible laws that created this situation, Oxy's are big money for the real scumbags.

Every part of your response regarding "Thanks to you guys...blah blah blah" is totally moot. If you don't abuse them as you say, it wouldn't matter if they changed the way they make them. The fact that they changed the recipe does not affect the potency or the way they deliver pain relief. It only changes the fact that you cant get that quick buzz by snorting it.

Well put Nola. I am a stage 4 cancer patient, and i am currently prescribed Oxycontin 40mg, twice a day. While i have no need to crush them or have it hit my system super fast, the idea that it could have been done to immediately take away the pain albeit temporarily could be a little tempting. But the fact that this person looked up specifically how to crush the new pills shows he is a cynical liar, and no doubt he is able to type this after going through all the stages of his detox and can look back and see what he did and went through.

You can't crush it - soak it in juice from a fresh lemon or any acidic fruit. It takes a good 3 to 5 hours to break down. It will grow & look like a translucent insect egg sack.It will be soft but still in solid form. .

im a chronic pain patient with chrohn's and rheumatoid arthritis l'm looking for a way to find oxycontin because i have tried everything over the last fifteen years from surgery to holistic treatments and every med. under the sun and my doc. is too afraid to prescribe the onlything that helps the pain...If theres anyone that thinks they can help me i wouldreally appreciate it... i have no idea where to begin looking. i know there are alotof people out there in debilitating pain and it's a terrible thing that only other people w constant pain understand.

Oxycontin is simply Oxycodone, or Percocet, in time release format. If you believe that the Oxycontin name in itself is the cure you seek, your Doctor is right in refusing you the medicine, as he can easily prescribe Percocet in it's many forms (generic) and provide you with the same pain relief. If you are legit, then ask him about Oxycodone. Doctors hate prescribing Oxycontin because of the many ways that the pills can be abused, and the time release benefit would only aid you if the pain was around the clock, as Percocet will give you 4-6 hours of relief, with a peak of about two hours.

I was hit by a truck from behind while jogging. My entire body was broken, and over a four year period, had 33 orthopedic surgeries. I suffered a staph infection in my left hip joint after one of them, and endured three more surgeries. I have surgical screws and clips all over my body, and am in debilitating pain every minute. I found that the combination of 10 mg. Percocet and Oxycontin 40 Mg. provides ample pain relief. The Percocet delivers the Oxycodone to the system within twenty minutes or so, and as such, is basically instant pain relief. Any legitimate pain sufferer will know that Oxycontin and Percocet are the same drug, chemically. The Oxycontin just provides the Oxycodone in a time release fashion. Have you discussed this with your Doctor? They call it Breakthrough Pain, and Percocet is perfect for that.

I think you are a complete ahole!! True people should not abuse any type of meds,but to wish withdrawal on anyone is just beyond being a complete ahole. If you were taking your meds correct then taking a 80mg. oc should last longer than just 4 hours. I think you are just as hooked on these things as anyone else is!!

hey oxylifesaver i am on ms contin 15 mg every 12 hrs and 5 mg oxycodone 3 times a day for bt i need help i dont know how to go to my doctor and ask her for the meds i feel i need without sounding like a junkie im not abusing i just need a higher dose of my meds or possibly try oxycontin i know that my oxycodone 5mg is oxycontin just not time release but i need the time release kind how do i ask her without sounding like i just want drugs

Shawn, just tell your dr the oxy done isn't lasting long enough and ask if there is something longer lasting, thy should suggest the OxyContin in that instance. And depending on how long you've been on the drug, it gets to a point where you build up tolerance and will need to go up on the dose. I was on OxyContin twice a day and oxycodone for breakthrough every 4-6 hrs for over two years. Now, (granted ive had a liver transplant since then and am still in chronic pain) but I am still on OxyContin (just moved down to 30s from 40s) twice a day, and now am on Dilauded 4mg as needed every 4 hrs. The oxycodone just wasn't enough and I had to keep asking for more that it wasn't covering my pain, so they switched me to the Dilauded. But I think the best way to approach it is simple say, hey doc, it's not working long enough. It helps for maybe 1/2 hrs, is there anything longer lasting? And they should recommend the OxyContin, because thats what it's for.

And lifever, there are people with legit chronic pain conditions who have been on their medications so long they need to in erase their dose, or find a better route to administer. Like bob said, just getting them in faster helps. So before you judge and criticize, think a little bit. Sometimes abuse isn't a choice, it's a necessity!

Wow, when I read you guys saying that you are on a lot of the drug and I can't seem see your point when it is a 20 or 30 or 40. I have been taking 3 80's, 3 40's and 5 oxy for breakthrough pain for about 5 or 6 years now. I am totally used to the amount. I don't have problems unless I miss a dosage time, but my body tells me I did sure enough. I have just started with the new meds this week so I will have to wait and see how they work for me. We are in Canada and it just became a law here for the new recipe crap. WEell....only in Ontario anyways but I'm sure the other provences will follow suite. I hope they are going to kill the pain as effective as the old ones. I won't be able to function at all if it doesn't.

Iv seen it done first hand, IT WORKS,
USE and method to make it as fine as possible ,
Mix or add something that you already inhale with
a 2 to 1 ratio (so u have twice as much as the mix add.)
then do it.
It takes about 10-15 minutes for effects

Easiest thing I've been doing. I suck on the pills for about 3-5 minutes and then wipe off the coating.. which I'm not even sure you need to do, I just like to do it. Then I put them in a shot glass of root beer (or coke, I just think root beer tastes way better) overnight-I leave it overnight, but it's worked for me in 3-4 hrs. I just let them soak, if I wake up in the middle of the night, or walk by them, I swirl the glass a little so the pills flip or sometimes they stick to the bottom or sides and I twirl them apart with my finger. Then when I wake up, I just take the shot and they kick in real fast and are real strong. In my opinion it's the easiest way, also the best way if you're living with people where you can't necessarily do the CWE..

I have the same name on Bluelight, maybe you could message me there-if you would. My dr wants to lower me, from the 4mg Dilaudid from every 6 to every 8.. and theres just no way I can do that. I duno what to say, how to deal with it, talk to him etc. I've been on Oxycontin and some form of bt pain relief for about 5-6 years now, the pain is actually from my spleen, it's enlarged.. about the size of a watermelon, they thought it would shrink after the liver transplant, but it hasn't.. and they say there's nothing they can do, I just dunno how I can possibly ever go off these meds or go down if the pain will never go away?

Is your spleen enlarged at all? Again, if you don't mind messaging me I'd be nice to be able to ask you a few questions.

You are si right , I have a kidney disease and have to take medication for the pain. I pass kidney stones all the time and it does begin to feel like you've become a slave to the drug, I myself wish I can be off all these med's. Good luck to u all.
