How Can I Get Subutex Not Suboxone? (Page 8)
UpdatedI don't know how to go about this as I am shaking and can barely focus, I need help! Please. I fear that my life is going to end from my abuse of opiates. I am currently taking 250 mgs of oxycontin per day. I have a loving fiance and a stepdaughter that I want to be here for. I sit here with cold sweats, and fear going out just because I may make the fearful turn to the meds. Any and all info on how to obtain Subutex would be much appreciated. This wasn't what I wanted my life to be, and I can not let it end this way..Please help me. I am not a religious man but I pray for help as I am at my wits end with this drug.
That's what happened to me with suboxone. The first week i was on it my stomach was WRECKED and i had no idea why. I went back to the doc and he gave me the subutex instead. Stomach problems gone. And I have also tried to get loaded while on subs. Like you said, might as well save your money. It's not even worth it.
Go online and seek sub prescribers. They are out there...if you don't have success, keep at it...subs do work and they work well...saved my live...
I am on suboxcone and they do the same to me but my doctor won't switch me to subutex unless I'm pregnant? :( I am in the new Lexington ohio area I doctor in Reynolds burg so I'm willing to travel would you by any chance know if any doctors around my area that are taking new patients?
Hello, i know this post was quite a bit back, and i really hope that you got the help you needed at the time! I am a recovering opiate addict, in a methadone treatment program, and dose every single day. I know how you feel, any opiate addict has SO been there, and if you want to get better and not struggle with your addiction or being sick every day PLEASE call any and all methadone clinics in your state, (theres usually a waiting list) maybe not tho! you may get right in!!! Follow all directions and PLEASE get help, you will be on a comfortable dose in no time, you will NOT get a euphoria like you would with painkillers, you will however have zero withdrawal symptoms, and high doses of methadone will make you sleepy just like any opiates, but no matter how high the dose of methadone, people try to chase that "euphoria" feeling, and i promise you, its not there. Ive tried and done my research yada yada, BUT it is the BEST thing and #1 life saver of people who do high doses of opiates everyday! For years, I was a secret but "functioning" opiate addict but with only pills! hope this helps! contact me if you need more advice!!
Hi varshawna. Yes im alot better on the subs. I was on methadon prior to switching to the subs. Thats why i was withdrawing so bad. My body had to get use to the subs. But im doing so much better now(:ty

Hey ISMAHEL?? Sorry. ..I just gotta tell you guys to read and read AGAIN what the man has to say! ! He could not be more RIGHT about what he is saying! ! Just be honest with yourself. ..it's not the end of the world, it WILL pass and you will survive. .no, it's not easy, but it is not going to be the hardest thing you will face in this lifetime either. ..STAND, BE TRUE! ! You will be alright in the end! ! Remember the faces of your fathers and loved ones. ...
This is, by far, the most intelligent reply i've seen on here. Hopefully we can eventually step away from this "after school special" view of "drugs" and "addicts." As if life isn't completely geared around our own mental addictions, which all are expressed in the body as biochemical cocktails, consumed by the brain.
When someone posts a question, reaching out for help and support, not a f***ing one of them benefits from the donkey that insults them. A great number of people benefit from Subutex maintenance, and cognitive behavioral therapy of some flavor. No one should feel obligated to sit around degrading and demeaning their selves, for finding their equilibrium. People on Prosac don't cry about being drug addicts, as well they shouldn't. I realize my view on controlled substances seems a little extreme. But, I feel that at the root of every addiction that interferes and destroys lives, is some level of disconnection and despair. Warring on drugs isn't the answer, it's the problem.
I'M RONALD. I live in New Castie, IN. I HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED W/ CRONIC LOWER BACK PAIN, DEGENERATIVE DISK DIS., bulging...herniated disks and nerve damage. Subutex is a god send. It's how i make it through the day. My old doctor keeps giving everyone the "runaround". Please help me find a new doctor asap. {edited for privacy}....thank you for your time.
Try doctor Woodard in Columbus on east broad street I think
u don't have insurance and tell them I can't afford the sub films that's what worked for me I get subutex
To everyone that says you get a buzz from subutex, you must be able to feel high on lawn clippings too. I've had both subutex and suboxone. I've had back surgery, and have chronic back pain. Now I take subutex for the chronic back pain, and it works better than any opiate I have ever tried. Suboxone is way too expensive compared to the subutex.
This is a replie for Ishmael. You have some very good information, but not everyone who is receives Subutex takes it any other way then told by their doctors! Now has for Subutex being around the same price or even more money. Then Suboxone is definitely not true.. I have seen it first hand all you need to do is shop around. I saved over $250 dollars a month that's almost 3000$ dollars a Year!
Don't know where you live Dr. Rich only prescribed subutex but doesn't see anyone with insurance that's the reason he lets ppl get the tex cause they're cheaper if your paying cash and I have heard of many people abusing Suboxone then it didn't throw them into withdrawals so I don't believe there's a difference. He's in Amanda Ohio
are u in colorado by chance? i know a dco that may be able to help if you are.
I've treated a fair number of "rich kids" addicted to opiates and haven't found ONE pretending to be an addict for the attention. The one or two-times in my career this happened, it didn't get past me beyond your first session. I'm Board-certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, which further qualifies me to work with kids. As I tell my patients; "The money didn't jump out of your pocket into the dealer's hands and the drugs didn't jump up your nose or in your veins." I have the licenses mentioned, although I've only used them to countersign scripts written by my fully-licensed Residents whose judgment I trust. I'm not a fan of substituting one opiate for another unless we're appealing to the Court of Last Resort. You're just looking or more excuses to feel high without too much inconvenience. That's NOT RECOVERY. (And I"m no fan of 12-step "cults" either.)

Are you serious? "looking to feel high without too much inconvenience"? WOW. thats pretty harsh. I have been an opiate addict since i was 15. (i am now 46) after going back and forth between subutex, dope, methadone for years...i am now on 90 mgs of tablet methadone and am finally on the "right" dose. Not feeling sick but not nodding out at 2 on the afternoon. I'm certainly not "looking to feel high", because if i want to i will just buy smack. And im certainly glad that my addiction specialist doesn't have your arrogant, condescending attitude. UGH
