UpdatedSo I started my period on the 11th of December & it ended on the 16th-17th of December. I took my birth control pill on the 18th of December (first time ever) I only took two of them bcus they made me throw up and feel really sick... Now on the 28th of December I'm having g bright red blood (spotting) any idea what's going on?,could I be pregnant?

If you didn't start them the first or second day of your period, but engaged in intercourse on the days you did start them, then yes, there is a risk of pregnancy, because they take 7 days to become effective if you start them at any other time, as listed in the FDA medication information.
However, since these are hormonal based contraceptives, it is most likely that taking a couple, then stopping them is what has caused the breakthrough bleeding. You've probably thrown your natural hormones off balance and it will take a little bit for things to balance back out.
Have you consulted your doctor? There are others you can try, to see if they don't make you as sick.
Typical side effects may include dizziness, headache, irritability, breakthrough bleeding and PMS like symptoms.
