Getting Off Zubsolv

Updated

Why is there no information anywhere on how to get off suboxone or zubsolv.... since recently I was switched to the zubsolv and I hate it. Any success stories out there? If so, please share how u did it. Been addicted to opiates for four yrs and on synthetics now for a yr. My doctor is useless and I'd rather hear it from someone who's lived it anyways.

There is absolutely no way to avoid withdrawals from opiates.

Subs are made to be taken long term, all depending on your abuse and history. my Dr had me on it for 6 yrs. I have the understanding that I will be on it the rest of my life due to the damage I've done abusing H, oxycintin 80s, roxys, morphine for a good decade ...sub's are harder to get off of then anything out there, H included, due to its Half Life. The withdrawals last around a month or more vs. 7 to 10 days for vics, and other opiates. Hope this helps

I have had the pleasure of many episodes of withdrawl from oxycodone and finally went to a treatment program wich was just a longer drawn out version of withdrawl and gave me a permanent record of being a drug addict. For years I had struggled with pain management. Hence the oxycodone addiction. I found the best way is to start on a mild benzodiazepine such as clonazepam or Valium managed by your Dr and given to a friend or family member to administer. Nausea can be managed with Gravol and with Imodium for diarrhea . Keep up fluids with electrolytes and healthy soups. If symptoms worsen contact your physician. You may be left with residual sneezing that gradually resolves after your body clears the toxin. Many people report dental issues that may be related to oxycodone. Good Luck!

I was taking 6-10 30mg oxycodone a day for 4 years. I wanted it to stop running my life. I started Suboxone. I was told to take 2 a day. I only was taking 1. My insurance stopped paying for the Suboxone and my Dr prescribed me Zubsolv. Again, I only take 1 in the morning and I'm good until about 5am the next morning when I have to take another one. I'm also taking Xanax. The Xanax I will be on for the rest of my life, but I want to stop the Zubsolv. Does anyone know how bad the withdrawals are from Zubsolv? I forgot to take one for the first time this morning and have been s***ting all day at work, but other than that.. It seems copable? Will it get worse or better?

I've been addicted to opioids for 5 years. Suboxone never worked. I tried the zubsolv during day 1 & 2 of detox and felt no withdrawal. I was so impressed. I didn't go through anything. Just tired. I thank God for them and highly recommend them.

Hard to regulate my body temperature hot and cold at the same time. Head aches. Do not want to eat or drink much and Im a big water drinker usually. My vision has gotten three times worse. Even my voice is week. And more.
