Gabapentin And Ocular Problems

I've been taking gabapentin about 9 mo now 300 mg nightly for hot flashes. But I noticed the last few months I was having vision problems. Dx as ocular migraines. Anyone else having these problems from this drug

If you read over the details side effects provided by the FDA, this medication has been known to cause many visual issues, as well as nausea, weight gain, mood swings and alopecia.

Have you spoken to your doctor about trying a different medication?

Tapering off of this one and trying something else would enable you to discover if your problem is solely due to this drug.

Prozac, which is an SSRI, has also been shown to help with hot flashes. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and weight loss. I've taken it successfully for over a year, now.

Yes I get headache s almost daily. I not sure from what. It may be Suboxone or neroten. I think it may be both

I've had ocular migraines before starting gabapentin in January. But had one yesterday..it wiped me out pretty much all day. I will be tracking this for sure.
