That is correct, this tablet contains 2mgs of Alprazolam, the active ingredient in Xanax, which is used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders.

I have these and these are 1 mg tablets with G3722 on them by Greenstone - the Generic Form of Alprazolam.

HAD 0 EFFECT on me; I've taken BRAND XANAX for 20 yrs and been at 1.5mg every 4 hrs for 14 yrs (started at .75mg w/a TCA Antidepressant then got rid of the TCA and had to double the Brand Xanax after a few years.

Can't find a Generic Equivalent...hopefully THIS BOARD or someone who's been on BRAND and moved over knows WHAT IS THE BEST GENERIC XANAX AT 1.0MG OR 2.0MG.....

My bottle says 1.0mgs GREENSTONE and I "believe" the difference between generic and brand ACTIVE INGREDIENT is +/- 20% - NOT DOUBLE THE ACTIVE INGREDIENT.....

If it really had 2mgs in this pill I'm holding, I'd be okay - not looking for another GENERIC EQUIVALENT... Tossing these babes down the toilet where they belong!
