Has anyone filled their prescription for blue Watson 10/500 pills from any pharmacies over the phone? I got 90 that look like my CVS refill, but have the effect of a vitamin. Ripped off again.

We all feel your pain. I was diagnosed with 80% DDD in the bottom most Lumbar disc when I was 18. I started going to the Dr when I was 15 complaining of back pain. There were times I would lay in the floor and cry from the pain. For 3 years I was told it was either pulled muscles or growing pains (my dad is a CEO and my mom at the time was an RN, so we had great insurance and money to go to the doctor. When I moved on campus for college, I saw a new Dr who sent me for an MRI. I got a call saying to do lay in bed all the time because my back was so bad that one wrong turn could paralyze me. Went to what was supposed to be the BEST surgeon in the state. Apparently paralyzation wasn't on his mind. He refused to do the surgery because he said I was to young. At age 22, I woke up one morning unable to feel my legs. The disc had completely disintegrated and the vertebrae collapsed on top of each other crushing all the nerves (I forgot to mention the approx 50 steroid epidurals they put me through). I had emergency surgery and they did a spinal fusion and lamenectomy. I don't know how much I lost, but I had to have two units of blood. 6 weeks after the surgery, my doctor released me to drive. While sitting at a red light, I was rear ended and was the lead car in a 4 car chain accident (I was not ticketed, I was sitting still at the traffic light). I went through about another 50 steroid epidurals, this time caudally. Physical therapy a million times. I have a home TENS unit plus the small travel TENS unit. My latest MRI shows DDD in every cervical disc plus three bulging discs in my cervical spine, my Lumbar shows two more DDD, spinal stenosis, facet joint degeneration, bulging disc in Lumbar with moderate impingement (they say no impingement in Lumbar, but let them tell my arm that when it has to elevated above my head for weeks), my MRI shows that my nerves in the spinal column are clumped together, but no doctor in Georgia will give me the official diagnosis of Arachnoiditis (I meet all described symptoms and was given an unofficial diagnosis by the Dr who write the GARD report and many text books on the disease (physical issue in most cases caused by doctors or tainted medicines during epidurals). Not a day, not an hour, not a minute goes by that I am not in pain. I have tried and tried to explain to my pain management doctors until I have there in a broken down mess and cried trying to explain that the pain doesn't even go away after taking the pain pills (the Lyrica and Nortriptyline help with nerve pain in legs). They don't get it. I can't enjoy life anymore! I can only stand/sit/walk for about 10-15 minutes before the pain becomes overwhelming and I push my activity level, the nerve damage really kicks in. In around 30 minutes, I lose all feeling in my legs and will fall. Yes, I feel your aggravation with sites like this and people like the person who responded to you. There are those of us that only want a resemblance of a normal life who are stuck in an ugly mess unable to get the meds we need because of drug seekers and people just trying to feel high. Not once have I EVER been high on a pain pill. Strange to some considering I am 36 and have been taking them daily since I was 18. Thing is, when you legitimately need them, you won't feel high from them. That's the difference between dependence and addiction. I am dependent on them to get out of bed and take my kid to school, not addicted to drool on myself, chew on my cheek and smoke a pack of cigs in 5 minutes. We all see you at the pain clinic, your easy to spot.

hey I also have DDD and for bulging disc and autoimmune disease called asymmetrical polyarticular inflammation and I have been on pain meds for 10 years also I have talked with doctors over and over again on the pain meds because of people like you described taking advantage of the system I am also in a lot of pain every single hour minute and a month throughout the year. I really feel for you because I am in the same boat.

People don't get that getting pain meds isn't as easy as you think to get ...not all doctors can write for pain scripts. I have to be in a pain management clinic in order to even get lucky enuff to get a Dr. to write you a script. I went from 90 Percocet10s to 90 7.5s after back surgery. If u take 3 a day they don't last. minor lumbar decompression now has made me worse than before so to those that thinks it's easy shouldn't be saying anything. I can't stand some days for more than 5 minutes plus n I go numb all over in my backside all the way down in my feet to the point where I have to have something to hang onto n it's usually my 14 yr old son who has to help me!

You may not wish to hear this but I would recommend psychiatric care and Clinical Hypnotherapy to modify your thought pattern. When you can re-focus on what is good in your life rather than the minute details of each MRI report. As any medical professional or researcher can tell you the "50 epidural procedures" is possibly a doctor over performing procedures to please you. In fact, there is no evidence that spinal epidural inj's. actually benefit degenerative disc disease. See a Clinical Hypnotherapist, a Physical Therapist and a D.O.. Then choose to enjoy your life and family. Make a choice to smile instead of grimace. I promise you that your life with change for the better.

Im reading a lot of negative stuff about pain meds, im lucky myself not to have to be in meds often only after every surgery, but my mom has had to have 5 back surgerys and has to be on pain meds the rest of her life, she can't even walk to the bathroom without crying, my sister and i quit our jobs at different times to take care of her. With the pain meds she's able to do a little bit here and there, she can't even hold her grand kids....
My nana and my step daughters grammy both have breast cancer and their pain meds help them in every day life just to function. People who are blessed to not know the pain and suffering others have will never understand why people take 4 or more pain pills a day... To them they just see drug addicts. Somehow this got really off topic with everybody this was supposed to be how to spot a fake pill and then you got people talking negative to other people about how much pain medication they have to take which is really nobody's business but their own to everybody who has said any negative comment about somebody who has to take pain medication you need to educate yourself and put yourself in other people's shoes if it was you or your loved one and pain and having to take pain medication maybe you would understand but you really should keep your negative comments to yourself and don't ask people how they function or comprehend anything while they're on pain medication

I'm a former ER Nurse and the hospital is where I began my Clinical Hypnotherapy Practice. I completely agree with your advice. I used to not believe but once I began using my training on patients in the emergency room I fast became a believer.

4 Percocet a day is nothing to make someone not be able to function normally!

After reading through this forum, and seeing several short sentences from you about "4 a day you wouldn't be functioning", I have to ask what medical training you have? I know you can't be a doctor or a nurse because one I am a doctor and no health care professional would be ignorant enough to say 4 a day you wouldn't function. Nor would they be so condemning to a patient in that situation. Yes, people that dont need them & take them just to feel high on the streets probably do have an issue with 4 and more. Each patient's health issues and pain levels are different, that is why we studied and monitor the situation. I have several patients, because of hippa laws I cant name, that take 4-6 10mg percocets a day, and are able to get thru work and daily activities with their lives only because of the relief from pain. Now maybe if they'd legalize marijuana use in pain treatment we'd see a decrease in the need for the pain pills, but until that happens these people are suffering and wouldnt have quality of life without this medication!

4x a day Hydrocodone 10-325 for arthritis, osteopenia and rheumatoid. Also fibromyalgia. I'm 76 yrs. old, female. I go to Pain Management to get my monthly prescription. Sometimes they do a U/A. I can't take NSAIDs due to allergies. Causes anaphylaxic shock. I wish I didn't have to take them. I am addicted.

Bless you and your mother! I seriously got tears right now... I am 25 and when i was 20, a 95y/o hit me going 65 and i was going 10mph on i75 in ATL and I had to be life flighted and under went emergency surgeries. The impact was so hard my face smashed into the windshield (even over forced the air bags), every bone in my face was broken. Had my left arm's rotator cup ripped out of its socket/torn. The seat belt crushed my clavicle bone and had to be shaven down...SO painful. Ruptured 3 discs. They were bone on bone and I got 2 bad fractures in my spine whereas 1 is slipping towards my spinal cord. And I have to be on pain meds OR I LITERALLY CANT SIT UP IN BED. I'm suffering from severe PTSD. It LITERALLY ruined my life.. I was pre med at Emory University and had to stop and I will never be the same. If I fall the wrong way i could paralyze myself. I won't settle legal suits until i feel it is time..BUT NO-ONE understands the money is just money... It doesn't give me back my life that i was living and going to have. (But hey at least im still here ??) My mom is a opthamologist and still has her practice but doesn't work anymore to take care of me. I just hate when ppl judge ppl who are on pain meds.. And with my age it's like "oh he just wants them for no reason" until they see my records. Thank you for your post, it just was so relatable. God Bless.

When you understand the pain... Which you never will until it happens to you. That crap does not work.. Im with your absurdity... HOPE/GLAD you are not a DR. & if you happen to be you should'nt be. My mother is a opthamologist OWNS HER OWN PRACTICES an can tell you a REAL MD PHD DR WOULD NEVER EVER MAKE A COMMENT LIKE YOU DID. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY 100% WRONG.

I have taken Vicodin for probably 35 to 40 years for headaches and for back aches and I make a point of never abusing it. I may take two at one time of 10/500 I suppose (might be 10 / 325) but after all these years they still do work for me and I don't have any unpleasant side effects and the fact that so many people abuse Vicodin and similar substances should not affect my ability to get it. I discussed with my doctor many years ago that I was concerned about addiction and did not want to become addicted. He was in a sole practice and he told me that because he was alone except for his support staff that for him not to turn up inconvenienced a lot of people and in order to keep going there were times when he took Vicodin to deal with his own personal pain. What we discussed was just using it sensibly and I use it sensibly so there is no chance of addiction. I take a couple of Vicodin and if that does not help, I quit for 3 or 4 days. Usually, 2 Vicodin will enable me to interact with my grandchildren and family and not be in pain. Since I use it sensibly, I'm certain there is no chance of addiction for me and it makes me deeply angry that my doctor said he cannot prescribe it to any patients anymore and it angers me that because of the abuses by some people, I can't get it anymore. It works for me and if it does not I don't take another dose for several days. Usually it benefits me but sometimes it does not help and so I may use Advil to help me with pain but never so beneficially as Vicodin. It just aggravates me greatly that we have an opioid abuse problem in this nation and I did not cause it because I do not abuse it. It annoys me deeply that punks and stupid people abusing substances have made it necessary for me to have to get a pharmacist to get Sudafed for instance from behind the counter because they are afraid that we might turn that product and others into methamphetamine. I am fed up with stupid people who ruin it for people who do not abuse it! Grrrrr!!! There is only a drug problem in the United States because of all the fools that are willing to abuse substances. We could stop all of the drug traffic coming from south of the United States border if we could control the appetite of the American public for what is not prescribed to them and for what is narcotic or a habit-forming drug that will kill them. I hate it that some people spoil it for the rest of us and that this nation is selling itself down the river by not having a sensible approach to the use of substances even if they are prescribed by a doctor. Why can't we just grow up and do what is appropriate and not abuse products?!?!

I've gotten no relief i cant believe a pharmacy would give me fake pain meds im sitting in screaming pain at times with my various injuries. They are fake no pain relief no usual side effects of itching. I always know if they fake.

I am sure they are not fake if from a pharmacy. It is just the wrong med for you. Tell ur doctor I have no relief and they will take a diff approach such as switching up your prescription plan
