Eritel Ch 80 Side Effects

My bp was always high. DR prescribed eritel ch80. Bp seems to be in control but I have major side effect. Whenever I stand up from sitting or sleeping I feel major weakness and seem to fall. I need to rest for a min and then I can start. And this happens everytime I stand. Sometimes I feel I am going to collapse. is this normal with this medicine. Earlier I used to have other versions of eritel and same thing used to happen but this eritel ch80 is the strongest when it comes to short term weakness.

Eritel CH contains Telmisartan and Chlorthalidone, the Chlorthalidone is a diuretic that removes excess fluid from the body.

Usually, when you get dizzy like upon moving/standing suddenly, it means that you're dehydrated, so you may be losing too much fluid from the diuretic in this medication.

How much fluid do you take in each day?

Unless your doctor has instructed you otherwise, when you take a medication like this, you should be making sure to take in at least 64ounces of fluid daily, not including anything caffeinated or alcoholic.

I am taking eritel 80 am regularly in the morning I feel very very exhausted especially until noon. I am taking adequate water. I am 76 years old, and under medication for diabetes for 30 years. My high bp also dates back to about 30 years. Now I am doubtful whether my condition is chronic fatigue syndrome. I have ruled out all possible underlying causes of fatigue bt taking various lab tests.
Will changing eritel help eradicate tiredness?

I.Is is alrightm of age 69,female using EriTel CH80 as prescribed by the doctor for BP. My urine color is thick yellow mixed orange. No other side effects.

I am taking Eritel CH 80 at BF and Concor Am 5/5 at BF and also Eritel Ch at dinner the BP rang 140-150/70-85. Doctor Pandey recommend to replace Eritel ch 80 with Tritelsar. Is it not too much medication?! Please advise if you can.

I am a 71 year old female and have been advised Eritel CH 80 in May 2016 as I was having fluctuating BP. I was earlier on Lotynsel for 7 years. Which is a Ca based Beta blocker. I have lost over 3kgs, my weight as such is only 50 kg and height 5ft. I do feel weak, however the blood pressure is under control at 138-145/74-78. Do I go to the doctor for a review?
