I got a DUI and had taken both lortab and oxycodone. They took my blood. Do they show up differently? And do they show levels? Also I took Valium, I am sure a lot. Again, does the blood test show levels?

I have taken loratabs 7.5 for 2 years for chronic back pain and I take 1 four times a day. I do not sell them or give them away but my past 2 drug test have come back negative. I do not understand and the drs release me as a patient because of the strict drug laws they have to go by but all I want to know is why the drug test would come back negative but the drs don't seem to care, they think I am lying but God as my witness I am not. can u help me.

I'm sorry,I'm a nurse ,u don't get a false neg.result if your truly taking them...so either your lying or someone close to you,is pulling the old switch ,taking your narcs and replacing them with something else... I'm a hospice nurse ,I see this all the time from family and close friends of patients. Very sad but true...Best advise get a safe lock them up....Good luck

YES IT DOES!!! I am actually on the same med and dose as the OP and I've randomly tested negative twice!
Luckily it had happened once before to another patient and 1 of the nurses knows me so I got lucky and didn't get kicked off..
I think it had to build up in my system (I have NO medical knowledge)..
I've been taking them the same as I always did and I haven't had any problems since almost 6 months..
This happened to me in the beginning of my treatment..
