Yea actually people that are on disability are going through the same thing... My PA just dismissed me last week with no explanation what so ever.. I have had 4 fusions on my neck, and 4 low back surgeries 2 of which I just had 6 weeks ago. Am still in cronic pain the last 2 surgeries did nothing to help the pain I was having, Then my 6 wk post op was yesterday in which my surgeon told me well since thats not what is was lets check and see if it is something else...hmmm... With no pain meds..

Just moved to Colorado Springs and am trying to locate a DR to prescribe some pain medication (which I genuinely need) anyone know of a doc who won't make me feel like some kind of drug addict?? So tired of this awful game...

Anyone in Tennessee that needs a good pain doctor should contact me. I have been seeing him for almost two years and have discussed the problems of finding an understanding dr. and the regulations. He is looking for new patients for anyone in Tennessee.

My doctor in Tennessee is taking new patients, he has his own practice and not regulated by partners or in doctors groups. Rare today, but he is understanding and reasonable, anyone that needs a good dr. in TN. LNK.

Well, I found a good doctor that isn't just a "Is that where it hurts, mmmhmmm, ok, heres a script of Vic's" doctor, lol. I recently, as in a week ago, found out my VA Insurance will expire in June. So, Im really lucky I worked enough hours to get my Ins kicked in because I went to see a Doctor that looked at my old Script, asked me about it and why I take it, and then asked if it is helping. I explained that I was originally prescribed the 10/325mg Percocet and that it was the best for taking care of my pain until I was misdiagnosed by a friggin moron of a Doc and told nothing was wrong with me. So, he told me he would prescribe me the Perc, enough for 4 a day and schedule MRI, Blood work etc. And it ended up being a twofer, lol, as he is also a Childrens Dr, so my little girl can get on my insurance too.

Does anyone know of a Doc in Hickory or surrounding area that will prescribe pain meds im 8wks post op of my 4th low back surgery and have had 4 neck surgeries still have a ruptured disc in my neck. My pain Doc just kicked me out and my surgeon said he cant prescribe narcotics because of that.. I cant even function on a daily basis with out pain meds. Still have about a weeks worth but scared to take em in case I have a really bad day..Been on the same meds for 9 years.. Honestly thinking of ordering over seas just don't want the trouble it comes with....

I live in Jackson, TN. and drive to Nashville to see my Dr. It is a few hours away but all highway so it is not that bad. If you are in TN. look up Dr. Aballay in Nashville, he is in the book. Mention my name, Tony. Thanks all.

I've been on tramadol for the past 8 years. Sadly its never worked for me by itself. But my dr added the muscle relaxer Soma and together they worked really well. I'd reccomend seeing if they can give you that or another muscle relaxer, flexeril works as well. good luck!

Hoping someone knows of a good dr in the dallas area. I was in a car accident 8 years ago, and have been in pain ever since. long story there. Anyways I've been on tramadol & soma, but last year they didn't work so well and they added advil ontop of it. Now I have no insurance and if I want to get my scripts refilled it'll cost me the $68 doctor visit plus 2k drug test, oh yeah & the dr is an a**hole. Can't afford the visit but i can't do without pain meds. Hoping somone knows of a decent dr who doesn't cost a months salary or work to go see.

There is no garauntee that any doc will fill vicodin, if you are taking pain meds and you have records they may give you vics. or hydros or oxycodone. Every dr. is different and prescribe different pain meds. As long as your records show you take them you will most likey get some form of pain meds.

I've had 3 knee surg. I've been told by 3 dr.s I need a total knee replacement but I'm too young. I'm 42. Is there any dr.s around Leesville or Many, La. that doesn't have a problem writing rx's for lortabs? I am in chronic pain every day please help.

Here is the breakdown in Minnesota for 2011-2012...

1. MAPS (Edina, Maple Grove, St. Paul, Shakopee, Fridley, Coon Rapids, Chaska)

Review: I have been there one time a few years back but know others who have been as well. They will not prescribe pain medications on the first visit, and are the MOST stubborn of all in the Twin Cities.

REVIEW: Went there for a couple months. They are always changing doctors and prescribers. They are starting to accept insurance, but this is a CASH based clinic, that pretty much will get you what you want if you have a document and history of pain. Appointments cost $300 on first visit, $200 there after.
*They never fill scripts early, got discharged for it, so don't ask
** They are starting to build in popularity so if you want in you better get there now. Soon it will be too large and they'll end up having to fold because they can't be legit. They answer the phone "Doctor's office?" Who does that right, why not just say, Twin Cities Pain Clinic?

REVIEW: Decent but it's part of a mighty conglomerate. They review your file before allowing you to visit. No one is guaranteed an appointment. Once you're in, you're in - but I will say if you've been shopping at an Allina Clinic anywhere in MN, they'll know

Health Partners: They have a ton of clinics all over the place. There are some doctors that will help you if you are a good enough actor and there are some that are complete NO's....

REVIEW: I am biased towards this place because a doctor helped for a long time here, but it's not easy to get them by any means. It's a huge patient-base an they see enough doctor-shoppers to be well-aware of it. I don't recommend it for newbies. Same goes for Park-Nicollet, Fairview, and Family Health Services

The Britton Center of Saint Paul: If your insurance allows you to go there, they are strict, straightforward, and upfront.

REVIEW: Probably the best place to go in the Twin Cities if you want a complete total rehabilitation of your pain. They are much more thorough nowadays then they were, let's say 5 years ago.... You can get oxycodone, hydrocodone, and others on your first visit. Be honest with these people and they will help you.

I will add more as I find them... If anybody knows of any in MInnesota, please add them to the site, I would like to hear about your experiences and the place you go to.
