I recently moved to east tx from Philadelphia and I'm running out of all my meds. Does anyone know a good pain doctor around Tyler, TX ? I have the name of my doc I left in philly. Thanks

Vent away! Good for you, I am also in constant pain. My pain meds help some, but I have been taking them for what seems like forever. I just had my 3rd set of injections and I am hurting really bad, if it's like this tomorrow I go back to see my surgeon:(

Pete, you should mention the handle of the blogger to whom you are speaking. I've seen a lot of people ask questions like that and they are ignored or rcv a response like, "Who are you talking to Pete?"

hello all. Long story fast.. have benn suffering with chronic leg,and lower and upper back pain for over 5 years. without going into my complete pity party story, bottom line, I live in the city of Las Vegas and after 3 pm docs, orthopedic,psychiatrist (maybe all in my head)LOL,gynechologist, urologist,neurologist, MRI's, CT scan, blah, blah, blah NOTHING SIGNIFICANT SHOWS! I need a doc asap that can prescribe me my oxy 30's, 15's, soma for spasms. BUT WITHOUT A FREAKIN HASSLE! my theory is pm is there to prescribe (I have a script history) while I wait for my disability and can cont. on to 2nd opinion specialists. until then a family member that cries the blues, (running out to soon) and I give in and THEN I RUN OUT EARLY. Then I am bedridden for the remainder of the month. Someone please help. I just need a head start (TO FURTHER MY EDUCATION, HAVE A LIFE ETC.! and it is impossible when I am sick! I hope others can empathize. Thank you very much

I THINK THAT IT IS TIME TO GET A LAWYER SINCE THESE DOCTOR'S ARE WILL GIVE OUT THINGS I CAN'T TAKE THIS IS MY BODY THEY ARE JUST ALL SHOOK UP ABOUT THE DEA, THE LAW SAY'S THAT IF YOU HAVE BEEN ON A MEDICATION FOR CHRONIC PAIN THE THERE IS NO REASON TO END WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN ON I HAVE TAKEN VICODIN FOR 7 YEARS AND NOW I AM SUFFERING I THOUGH IT WAS A DOCTORS RESPONSIBLE TO KEEP A PATIENCE'S OUT OF PAIN

You are so right! I have found out over the years, and finally was able to find a doctor that I thought cared about my back pain. He put me on Norco, he tells me to take as needed but not more than 3 pills in a day. Well it's been a couple years. and all of a sudden he won't refill it! S.O.B! Sorry, but I am in constant pain, have had many injections that only heled the right side of my back. Bottom line is you have to #1 have a lot of money, or be one of the fornunate ones that have found a caring doctor. Now I have to get it from a friend that takes the same medication untill I can find another doctoe. Good luck to everyone ut there. It's so sad when you could be out doing the things you love, but most doctore like to play God, while we suffer!

Did you find a doctor in Charlotte? I fell and broke my back but the doctor will not listen when I try and tell him how much pain I am in. I need a doctor that can help me.

I live in Bergen County, NJ and need a PM Dr that is not afraid these days to prescribe needed pain meds! Tramadol puts me asleep, Naproxen does nothing but upset my stomach...Nucynta is terrible! I'm tired of living with this pain and need someone that will help manage the pain without falling asleep at work and having stomach pains on top of everything. I have a very physical job and need something that will alleviate the daily pain. If anyone can suggest someone I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance!

I have 2 bad discs in the back - L4 L5 s1. I want to my pc doc and got percocet and then I got in with pain med doc 2 weeks later. Now my pain med doc can't see me because of too many meds too close together, but he gave me percocet the first time then the state said too many meds too close together. What do I do now? I have been on them for over two years now and i am in a lot of pain. Will any other pain doc see me if I tell them what I did? thanks for the help

Your doctor should help you, he knows you need the pain meds. I hope you have insurance, if you get an MRI taken, you should get meds for sure. I had to get one and xrays. Then my surgeon gave me valium to help the spasms and norco for the pain. I hope your doing ok. Let me know

I fell on a tile floor and had an x-ray and an mri which show I have 3 bulging disc L3 L4 and L5 and L4 has a fracture. My doctor said the only thing that can be done for of is time to heal, PT and medication but he is not wanting to give me the meds and I am in so much pain I really just want to die. I don't know what to do. Does anyone know of someone in Charlotte, NC that can help me?

Looking for docs that recribe Vicodin or Oxycodone near Lansing, IL. I am a Army Vet that was wounded in Afghanistan and the VA went from prescribing me Percocet 10s to Tramadol and then back to vicodin. The Vicodin doesnt help very much for my pain and the when I tell the VA that the Percocet actually helped me while not making me as sick when I would run out early they just say Sorry. I know, some of you may say that you will get sick from Percocet just like Vicodin, but I think that Vicodin is very bad as far as getting sick. Anyone have advice for docs that will prescribe me the Oxycodone?
