P450. I'm so sorry for your pain and all your enduring. That's so awful. My poor deceased husband was put on methadone. And years ago just cause he missed his appt. I watched him go thru horrible withdraws. I hadn't caught on yet that it was withdraws.... At that time we had xanax. I only wanted to help him so I would give him 1 to see if it would at least offer some relief. He told me later a tad. But its not only that with me. HMG doctors are failing me horribly. I've waited almost 2 months for nurses to do their jobs on my back and broken tail bone and that's at another specialist that the doc wanted me into a physical therapy facility. With also waiting until 9 to go to a spine surgeon. I got lupus n copd. I saw my PC yesterday and not even blood work, its been six months.... I'm new on this site and don't even know where to go to look up doctors.... But I friend got in a pain clinic I went to for 3 years and now I draw BCbS and got medicare but just Caz it got my deceased husbands SSN. They took my friend but not me. I can't even get injections in back. Thank you so much for responding. Our government has gone to hell and I ran into some s*** on Youtube that pathetic Obama thinks he will outsmart us and be president again. All of its horrible. And yes that drug up here is called ice and its real bad, my daughters bf got on it one night and thought he was invocable but yet ppl who need help n have MRI can't even get relief. Pathetic. I truly hope u feel better. I'm a newbie in here. Not sure how I found my way but one night I had posted asking for help here in kingsport Tennessee.

Can you write me back? I'm having a terrible time with fibromyalgia. I've been put on all different types of medication and the only thing that has ever helped me was Percocet. I live in Wisconsin and because of the super strict regulations on drugs for pain it's completely impossible to get what I need to live a half way decent life. I am truly desperate.

I'm looking for a Springfield, MO doc who can prescribe Norco. I've had neck surgery, 4 major joint replacements, an MRI showing severe shoulder damage, and spinal stenosis. I only take them when the pain is severe, otherwise I don't use them. My current doc is leaving the area and apparently no one else will prescribe the meds.

What part of tn? Im trying to find a dr outside of va cause the va dr i have took me off my pain meds ive been taking over 2 years.

I just moved to Tennessee and I have been on oxycodone 15 mg for 3 years I'm in pain 24/7 and them are the only pills that help that I can afford, but I can't find a Dr that will give them to me. I live in Johnson City area

I am in very bad back, hip on my lower right side and sometimes i be in so much pain. I don't know what to do my pcp doctor will not prescribe any pain medication that works and that is hydrocodone or percocet. And the reason why im having pain is that i fell over the winter and hit my hip bone. They have taken xrays, cat scan and mri the can't fine anything wrong, but seem to say my lower spine is thinning. Please help fine a very good doctor who can help.

I have fibromyalgia also and it isn't fun which I'm sure you know. However I have had it since I was 22 and I'm 31 now and still run into the same issues.

1) you need to find a doctor who believes fibromyalgia is REAL. A lot of physicians still don't believe it is due to the lack of tests that they can physically see you have it

2) yes fibromyalgia is very painful but it will be hard to get any narcotics on that diagnosis alone. They do have other medications that are not narcotic that help fibromyalgia which they will want to put you on first. If you have tried all the alternatives then your at a better chance of getting a narcotic but that's still not definite

If you have done both these things, your going to have to be stern with doctors and know that if you haven't been thru the wringer you will have to. I'm sorry to say this to someone in pain especially since I do experience it myself but until the DEA and even doctors realize that fibromyalgia is a true and painful disorder then this is just the facts. Not saying that within your state is the same, cause every state is different but I live in New Jersey and have been thru plenty of wringers I might say cause of my age. They are very rude and Receptionists, Lab Workers, Nurses assistants and Nurses all treat you like your lying ABOUT EVERYTHING, AND THEY THINK THAT THEY ARE BETTER THAN YOU! THEY TREAT YOU LIKE A LOWLIFE JUNKIE!!!!! Yeah You might get a prescription, but is it worth swallowing your pride every time?

I have slipped discs, many damages nerves, arthritis in my back, knee and left arm. It's been chronic for over 10 years and the Dr's here are horrible. I have spinal stenosis. And the damage in my back affects the nerves that go down past my knees and they never give me anything that comes close to relief. Can you please help me find a new doctor? I have the results of all MRI's and cat scans and I've even had an arthrodesis. Please help me! The doctors here are worthless!

Posters looking for Florida drs, NBT has a good one thru research so go there or this other clinic I have found:

Orange County Medical Solutions 4401 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando, Fl. 407-895-7245.

I have gone there almost ten months now, they follow guidelines & require mri, records, etc but will write meds for you if have all your paperwork. Sign contract, do U/A, then your good. P450, am sending vibes for your ultimate victory in your horrendous journey. Hang in dear Lady....

Where in Texas are you? I'm in McKinney. I see a dr. in Mesquite Tx that understands pain. If you have proof you need meds he will help you.
