You must be so severe with Central Pain and other complications to evaluate with Dr. T and no approved pain specialists are allowed to do ultra high opioids due to the government interventions at this TIME.

Peace

Mad,

He is NOT repeat not taking anyone without diagnosis of Central Pain.

I have provided two associates for him to go to. Don't waste time for this man.

Mad,

I would appreciate it if you kept BL's comments away from me.

First of all anyone here knows that I am legitimate including the owner of the site who has my medical license and credentials.

Second if Charlie has ruptured discs he does not have Central Pain. Dr. T. is very specific at this time and I know this hands on first thing. I just returned from his office several days ago. I am not BL and that is the worst, most insulting thing said to me.

Dr. T. and his wife retired years ago before I went to him due to the death of my pain specialist also a high end doctor died. I am forced to go to the best for Central Pain kills literally and you do not want to flood Dr. T. with patients he does not take when someone is in immediate need. The physicians I provide are also in the San Gabriel Pain Network.

Good day!

Posters,

We have been in a CRISIS for well over 2 years now. Some are just finding it out now as their physicians are discharging them without cause, OR suddenly refusing to fill opioids for intractable pain.

Our scientific knowledge SHOWS and has proven via statistics that opioids are the SAFEST method to control intractable pain. It allows better rehabilitation for new injuries, less divorce and family break up and longer life span. HOWEVER, the government has INTERVENED by allowing the FDA and CDC to publish overdose and death results blaming opioids.

This led to reduced morphine equivalent suggestions.

Your physicians then faced LIABILITY or malpractice if you broke your pain contract, and or died or had complications so instead of continuing you or facing medical board (within the state) and DEA mandates they cut you off cold; the rare cases like me are dying and have died.

The truth is the statistics of death by overdose were of ILLEGAL USE of prescription pain medications. Either obtained on the black market or the rare pain patients who sell their drugs or part of them have HURT all of us we are dying we think.

It is important to taper properly if you are on long acting opioids. If you have lost your physician and are on long acting patches, morphine, or oxycodone (if you are facing a sudden cessation) get to the nearest Methadone clinic to save your life. No they do not take pain patients but addicts and the government will allow illicit drug addicts to have their Methadone.

Methadone is the cheapest long acting pain medication known to man and it will save your life rather then die of sudden cessation.

If they say you are not an addict nod your head and state 'I will be within 24 hours for I have no medication and will have to abuse to save my life' which will categorize you for treatment. You will need to go daily at first and during this critical time when you are stable (Methadone has a slow pass and it takes weeks for those like us to adjust you cannot increase too fast or death will occur) find another physician and...

Dress professionally and do not pressure the doctor. Take what you can to maintain until we have a new leader in D.C. and this insanity reverses government in our great country never controls physicians! But this is happening now and we have a rough few years to hold onto here and do what we can to get by.

Treatment centers will not want you they will tell you that long acting opioids are too high risk they will not allow you in for you are not an addict! I am telling you this to save your life.

There may be a time very soon if a physician who is not government certified prescribes long acting he can lose his license so the few who can write are very rare and far between.

I am trying to help. No hysterics, no drama, no tears it does not matter if your G.I. tract is bleeding on the floor, these physicians FEAR FINANCIAL LIABILITY and losing their licenses let this pass when America returns to her glory and rightful place.

The bastid in office did this to us to pain patients and the chronically ill. Doctors are paid financial incentives to STOP treatment now of those who are not cured. ER's will not give you opioids and you will go bankrupt paying for a visit under the ACA.

Ruptured discs won't get you opioids you must have serious, incurable pain to be seen by a physician who might write these drugs and then you will also be used as a research object for many new drugs some of which have deleterious side effects. The government is trying to stop all pain management and it won't work but you cannot hire a lawyer to fix this in fact you won't get help.

This is a D.C. issue that was planned years ago. I am guiding you to live through this last year I near died and I have 3 Court Orders one I won under the Supreme Court. Yet they were trying to off me due to the COST of Duragesic and I suggested Methadone the cheapest known to man to save my life. My journey is underway dear friends.

I have since my injury referred over 10,000 suicidal pain patients around the world including countries that disallow opioids. Lucky for the wealthy that they were able to get from places like India to England where I got them help. They like me were dying, and today my list of physicians has gone from over 400 to less than 4. No one has a guarantee.

Stay calm and take heed. I am an ultra rapid metabolizer my drug bill was over $30,000 per month. My life to these people under my LIFETIME MEDICAL AWARD meant nothing and I caution you to take my advice.

Peace...

Posters,

I did not raise heck on this post to see no replies; most here who are regulars know who I am and due to my own poor health and massive changes in medications (due to the government leaving loop holes under the ACA and running your physicians also giving them financial incentives to fire you) so avoid posting daily--with my massive allergies and DNA defects in metabolizing opioids I am a veritable time bomb and suffering side effects that may outweigh some of my medication changes...

We cannot force physicians to go back at this time. For those who do have a conscience their profession, and finances will always outweigh our outcome. I am sorry to tell you that anyone who thinks their pain specialist is a parental figure, will do anything including going to prison (Dr. Bill in federal prison in Virginia years ago is a prime example) are mistaken and wrong.

The advice I give you is to maintain pride, dignity and decorum until we are able to obtain proper help. It will take ridding ourselves of Obama and his rigged regimen, and putting for profit medicine back in America that is WHY we cure diseases and have medications that cannot be obtained or competed with anywhere in the world!

Safe tapering is to save your life. That doctor who wrote you consistently for 9 years will save his license and bank account FIRST not write your pain medications it won't happen! Getting angry, not showing up for a UA, refuting the Pain Patient's Bill of Health won't do you any good and if anything will get your rectum literally booted out the front door.

Dress professionally and stay calm. Be prepared for greatly reduced dosages. Keep a pain journal daily which I've outlined repeatedly. Make your physician take a copy for your chart monthly. Include other methods of controlling pain (other then drugs) throughout the day and use the 1 to 10 pain scale measuring the pain at least hourly the first week or two on a new medication and at least 4 times a day throughout the month. Chart things like 'took a hot bath up to neck for 15 minutes at 10 a.m.,' 'did stretching exercises 10 minutes,' attempted walking to post office box two times this week. These are credible efforts that will save your physician and you if the DEA comes in on complaints.

If a physician is writing you high levels currently be prepared for he or she to go belly up shortly and be prepared to not have a physician. Refer to my emergency Methadone clinic plan if you are on long acting opioids and use whatever it takes to get your life saved.

This president would rather cater to addicts then pain patients remember this. This is why we have been put essentially into a huge Hitler grave by this i****. All he wants is a can of gasoline and a match to burn us alive.

I would like to hear back from those who are regulars here and the Virginia pain patient and Charlie in California.

Peace.

P450 Metabolizer, you are so right about Dr. T only taking patients that are in an emergency situation as I was when he saw me. Then when he got me stabalized he referred me to DR. HY, and I know that Dr. T is very busy trying to help people such as yourself and others who are in need or would die otherwise. Dr. Hy is a very kind and understanding Dr. But as with any Dr. that treats intractable pain patients you have to follow all the rules he needs you to follow or he will let you go as a patient. There is one other Dr. in pomona other than Dr. Costllo and his name in Dr. Porcelly and he is part of the network you mentioned. I got these names from Dr. T when he was helping me find a Dr. to free up some time for the more urgent patients. God Bless.

f100,

I did not mention Poricelli for he too is retirement age. I have been with Dr. T. since 2010 and ONLY due to the untimely death of Dr. J. Hochman, MD also a proponent of legislation along with Dr. Rose (deceased) and T. providing us with opioids for intractable pain in Texas, California, and Virginia. Currently California is the only state enforcing it but with so much innuendo and shortages (pharmacies in California shut down when out of opioids and may only open 2 weeks a month) for the State allows them only one wholesaler.

I am a WC permanent lifetime medical award and I had pharmacies I could use nationwide that protect you as a WC recipient, and provide the medications as written. However, now there is a big to do in California about using such pharmacies and why I do not know. The Court allows me under my award to use whatever pharmacy I want.

Yes, to me ruptured discs are not enough background medical for opioids especially in California. First of all most Americans are overweight, and a good PM will not unless you are actively losing weight give you opioids if you are causing your back further harm, and ruptured discs can be adjusted and relieved with PT, temporary short acting pain medication, and surgery if nerve root impingement occurs or full blown ruptures cause neurologic deficits.

I never ever refer anyone without more history.

Peace f100

P450, is that a workers comp lifetime award? I have a lifetime pension award from the state of washington under workman comp pension fund and have been for the last 25 yrs.. My pharmacist called the state pharmacy board to ok my prescription because of the high dosage. I had not known DR. Poricelly was that old as I was given his name close to 5 yrs ago. I was just trying to help someone that sounded as though they needed some. Brett had helped me with seeing Dr T right after my son died and I wasn't able to make it to my first appt with DR T, sorry I ment no harm and didn't mean to step on anyones toes. Peace out

Hello everyone this wacky weather here in nj is really not helping my pain.

However I was able to find pain management again and yes they do take my ins which is Medicaid / horizon no health. Very difficult to do but now since I was out of pain management for so long DEA has had a field day with regulations since then. However (this is for p450 not BL) is it a new regulation that you cannot be prescribe OxyContin and oxycodone together anymore or is it the doctors preference?? He put me back on my oxycodone of course not that same dose but also fentanyl. The doctor I saw before him was talking about changing me to fentanyl anyways but my doses are lower than what I am used to. They aren't working and on top of that I'm getting a rash where I out the patches and they don't stay either. Can u let me know how I can approach him about this without sounding like an addict?? I know what works and have been on everything so shouldn't I know best??

Again BL DO NOT REPLY I WILL NOT TAKE ANYTHING YOU SAY INTO CONSIDERATIONS

Anyone else who has any EDUCATED answers may also reply but the remarks and condescending tones will not be tolerated.

Thank you and God bless you all!!

#3707 P450,

You must have your knickers in a twist since Mr. Obama has now embraced the inevitable next POTUS MADAM MS. HILARY R. CLINTON. Thank god for the democratic process of this country when right wing idelogs like yourself would use a valid platform like the unconscionable treatment or lack there of for chronic pain sufferers everywhere. You should be ashamed of yourself. WE have enough challenges, we don't need to be schooled in your delusional pontifications. Now, Kindly enthrall us with your acumen.

Sunshine, you are very lucky you found a doctor to prescribe, I think we are all hard pressed to find any pain management that are going to prescribe our previous dosages, this is nation wide, I went round and round with my doctor after he cut my dosages down, he told me I am lucky I am getting anything at all. These stories of doctors just cutting everyone off is disgusting and harmful to our health, they are all worried about loosing their licenses, it's unfortunate, I don't know what all of us are going to do.

Any pain Drs in pa beaver county that will prescribe pain pills only? I'm disabled, my neck is inoperable and that's the only thing that allows me to move and do things. Without it I'm worthless. I was on perc 10 mg for ovr 3 yrs and my pcp dropped them off of me for no reason. He was giving them to me so I fired him.

f100,

Absolutely not, I just know how difficult it is right now. To even think that a physician only handling the worst of Central Pain Syndrome (when intractable pain has infiltrated the brain) and has retired before will just take anyone with chronic pain is difficult.

America and government are causing millions to LOSE physicians and opioids. Doctors are paid money to fire you, and not treat you for any chronic illness. It will soon (I am told) be law that only those certified with the government will be allowed to prescribe.

In the meantime illegal and superficial information is fed to you due to government control.

This is America and the only change you will see is the next President and HE TOO will need to reverse the damage done by the ACA. That is what is killing you people and it will take several years.

f100, yes a lifetime Medical Award that until I settle is for life and won under the Supreme Court. If and when I am stabilized again after a year of near death I would like to move forward to settle this award.

Posters,

DO NOT FIRE A PAIN doctor or you will find yourself in crisis. Scroll down to older posts to my suggestions if you find yourself suddenly without a physician and medications which can cause death from SUDDEN CESSATION!

The government is controlling physicians right now. You will not (if you FIRE a physician) see another writing your medication until a new President is elected and the insanity of paying doctors to STOP TREATING YOU stops! It is unconstitutional and illegal.

Just because a physician is found suddenly writing BEWARE for he or she may be shut down a week from now. Stay with who you have and bear this madness for a few more years. WE MUST do this together. We are all affected. There are no other options.
