The drop in the tylenol from 325 mg to 500 is on a per tablet basis. According to the FDA, if your rx states take 2 tablets which would be 650 mg tylenol that if fine.The FDA has asked pharmacists not to fill prescriptions combination drugs that contain tylenol written for more than 325 mg tylenol. The pharmacist is to call the dr before filling it.

I'm seeing the same prob here in martin county,f l I was prescribed 1 5/325 2 x's a day (new law by FDA dropped 500 tylenol) from 5/500 2 at 2 x's a day so I'll be going thru withdrawls until I find help. I don't think 2 5/325 is too much to prescribe It doesn't cover my pain but hoping no bad withdrawl at least. Hope u find help.

Don't ask about a dr prescribing certain meds on the phone or when you see them becasue it is a red flag. Get an appointment and askthe new dr to get the medical records from your previous dr. The new dr may or may not rx you the same meds after awhile. But, asking up front for them will get you a "No"

I need a doc in the Augusta, GA or Aiken, SC area. I take 7.5 lorcet 2-3 times a day, 1 mg xanax at night and 20 mg adderal per day. Been doing this for 4 years, same dose and happy with it. Problem is my doctor had a stroke and is no longer practicing. Every docs office I have called says they won't prescribe these meds. Can someone please help me find a doc who will continue my current meds? I have insurance.

I have degenerative spinal disease, arthropathy, spondylosis and osteopenia. Having a problem with finding a Doc who will prescribe pain meds on long term basis. I have stage IV liver disease and have a limited time left, I'm strictly concerned about the quality of life for the remainder of life and not to the issue of addiction. Any Doc's you know of that would help me? (Tulsa, Ok.)

For five years I was prescribed lot tab, Xanax, adderal and antidepressant and I needed them all. It was the only time in my life that I held a job for more than a year. The doc got investigated and began giving drug checks frequently. I never failed, but was charged 700 dollars per diagnosis. When I could no longer afford them I refused the last one. I can't find another doc and they won't let me come back. I have lost three jobs since and I just had a son and we are about to lose our house please help augusta ga area

Need help with chronic pain! I fell through my porch 3 months ago and aggravated an old back injury. I don't have insurance so I didn't see anyone until recently and the doctor told me right out front he will not prescribe anything for pain besides NSAIDS... This is out of control ridiculous! Doctors are so scared to prescribe because of all these laws and regulations. I couldn't get any help years ago in this state and now I fell the same thing happening again, been the worst years of my life and here we go again. Any help is highly appreciated!
