Hi girl, glad to see you posting again too. There's been lots going on, so if I have time tomorrow, fill you all in on it. Hope you are OK except for being extremely frustrated with what we are dealing with on our medications.
Lots of news for you guys about what we are facing and definitely we are not alone in this. I know that doesn't make any of us well, but it is some comfort to know that others are in the same boat, at least for me it's a comfort. Makes me feel less crazy :)

One time I took the fentyl patches and omg got to the point I thought I was gonna die...my heart was messed up and I was so weak..took them off and suffered my doc was out of town lol my fault though. .although thats when it was ok to be helped...not for me .oxycodone base meds work for me..morphine is hard on the crohns unless used when I'm in hospital ok... and for some reason oxycodone is the one that's gets so much bad publicity....I sit here in pain after 38 years and think really... its cruel and they say its wrong to even ask for relief these days ...God for bid euphoria. .whatever that is... if your meds help and make you feel better ..hellloo...isn't that what they were made for??? NJ is the worst state... sick and pain and you are automatically a drug addict ...and I'm really sick w a disease that is awful... in and out hospital... I'm so mad for all of us......sorry just venting love u guys

I'm so sorry I haven't been on these last weeks, been too sick and in pain to do so. Plus, I have a horrible neighbor who has screamed and cursed at me, called the police on me and tried to get a restraint order against me, but the judge ruled in my favor. All because I let her know her dog was barking out her open, front door, the entire time she goes out. It comes right into our windows, disturbing our peace, keeping us from sleeping. She made friends with the county animal control girl, who came out and believes her lies and now does nothing to stop her from allowing that dog to continue. Plus, the newer neighbors, on her other side, not meeting me yet, came out and screamed at me too, because she poisoned their minds against me. I wish they would take the time to meet me, so they can see this woman is a liar and I am a really nice, helpful person to know. So, my heart has been giving me problems too, with high blood pressure, making me vomit and having migraines.

Anyway, I still have you all in my prayers, hoping someone will help us. A lady, who suffers in Tucson, went on TV and told her story, they did a quick report on that, but I don't know if it was enough. So, my suggestion, to all of you, write to your local TV stations, especially the big newspapers, tell your story, reference this site so they can see all our stories, tell the radio and write to the President on his "Front Porch" website, as I have been doing. I will give you that address, but first, here is the petition, I started. I need many, many names and if you can, write something about your suffering, there too, in order to get more attention. Also, here is the "Front Porch," website, of the President. He claims he wants to hear how we are all doing, (economically), but I also think he needs to know how this is hurting us all, economically, too)! We can't work, take care of our families, can't get out of bed, now. I just heard on the news, how a big load of coke, got into the states, yet, the DEA is concentrating on innocent, sufferers? How is this fair? Here is the "Front Porch" website. Do not be afraid to write all you feel, they may take our help for pain away, but it is still our Constitutional writes to speak what we need to say.

You are so right that there is a problem with our pain medication and our medical care. A nice lady has a petition to address that very problem and it's on this thread. If you want you could page back and find it, her name is Marianne.
If it becomes too long looking for it, I would be happy to give you the information again.
It's really necessary that we do something to stop this madness. We aren't the problem. The illegal drug trade is the problem. It's just easier for the agencies to target law abiding citizens than to do something about the true problem.

I've been on fentanyl patches +breakthrough x19 yrs.NOW 8 months ago I needed help for sciatic pain,the doctor coerced me to sign a ain contract,then took all but the fentanyl patch away.I've asked for help through congress,this o e doesn't help,the last one helped in less than a week.NOW I went back to congress for help,things were fine -2 dsl later they withdrew all support a blamed me.MY issue is 19+ years on a working regime,now even with established diagnosis the doctor redefined my issue to justify using medicine I can't take. Because I can't take this medicine, my fentanyl patches have been discontinued YET the doctor won't address the issue of pain because he thinks I just don't want to take the proffered medicine. it's in my record-adverse reactions. I'm hurting so bad I think just not waking up would be better than suffering, the pain makes me v, I hurt so much. I'm not suicidal, I'm in pain.

Anytime I run out early- as much as 5 days early of Methadone Tramadol is a great med to stop withdrawals. 2 works fine. Remember Tramadol can make you very sick or even die from if you take to much.

My doctor was prescribing me Norco's 10 mg. & Oxycodone 30 mgs. for multiple reasons. Now all of a sudden he tells me he is retiring! Sure leaves me in a "BAD'' way. Is there ANY doctors in the LaSalle/Peru, IL who will continue my above meds in my area....that also takes Medicaid? Desperately need help!!!

why in world r they taking chronic pain suffers pain meds. im 62. been on my oxies for 5 yrs. only thing that helps. without it I can't get around. somebody gotta do something. I want my life back. y dnt c them takin alcohol sales. that's worse yet dnt we have any rights. guess I will have to turn to the street and help drug dealers get rich

Hey Co Susie thank u for asking about me! Ugh that must have been fun a day without
..well had u lived next to me I would have helped ya! Im hanging in there ..just feel not great since I'm so low on my meds...I hurt and my motivation goes to about zero .... otherwise great...do u guys have these vip docs near u..they charge like 2.000 extra a year and u get their cell phone ...supposedly vip service..

Does anyone know of a pain Dr. who prescribes pain meds in the Minneapolis area? I have had chronic back pain for the past 10 years,my last Dr I went to just wants to do physical therapy and injections,none of that's works for me,so $2500 later and still nothing helps,l expect an empty wallet,so if anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated

How are all you doing lately? Haven't heard anything, not even from NJshore, or any of you. Hope you are doing fine. I've had a lot of ups and downs this past week or two. I wasn't able to get my medication because my 30 day cycle fell on a Sunday, so a day without meds, then weeks to adjust because my body can not deal with change of any kind.
My routine is so very important to me being able to function.

Don't know any first hand in Memphis, there is one in Dyersburg and one in Jackson, the one I go to is in Murfreesboro, I have to drive 3 hours every month but I have been seeing the same DR., for the last 6 years. July 1, 2013 they made him open a pain clinic and I just transfered over with him.........
But he is taking new patients though, HOPE pain clinic in Murfreesboro..
