Can you tell me about any doctors who can prescribe Vicodin

2all I've met on here I hope Uve all had a VeryMerry Christmas...& praying 4 all 2 have a Very Better New year! Dr. Tennant took time out 2 answer me wen I sent an e-mail. Very encouraging & of course he nos how bad it is. Did give me some suggestions. Xoxo. So far the 1 package of herbs is helping me com down & focus better. Waiting 4 herbs 4 better pain control. I've been able 2 do more & it's so nice. Still struggling from all the other cure all drugs. Feeling a bit more myself going 2 take awhile from the tramodol. So nice he took time out that's integrity & dedication. We need that desperately from all the care givers.

I have had three low back surgeries and neck surgery on all the discs in the neck. I have post laminectomy syndrome. Also have severe pain in one hip. Pain dr retired a couple of weeks before Xmas with no warning. I have been unable to find a good doctor who is taking patients. I have had epidurals and various nerve blocks which did not help. Opiods are the only thing that reduces the pain to a tolerable level.

Njshore,sandy & others...yes let me no 2 if u find a compassionate pain management doc. Or pain place where they don't want either a contract or 2 do those shots!! U they get u 2. Come back & it's not helpful. Thin if u r lucky they will prescribe something, usually it's low dose no matter wat papers r brought in. After the shots I had now I have diabetes 2 deal with because of the cortisone. Other stuff can b used but this is the drug of choice . I even told the doc I HAD been diabetic. But not for 5 yrs. After working so hard!!!!it hurts that this happened.these docs don't even noost of wat they're giving u. That's a TRUE fact from contacting all kinds of groups & others. Was hoping they'd post all but I can v y. Will try again. I did get my alprazalom is ok & helps the panic. I can think way better than b 4. Codiene soon. B glad 2 get that. I'm almost through the worst of this tramadol trap & have been made as heck it's even proscribed 4 pain . It was NOT until they saw another way 2 sell it like all these dam cure all drugs. I'm writing & getting responses & more 2 go. Keep safe xoxo. Please if anyone has heard from COsuzie let us no. I've been trying & I'm not sure wats happened I pray all is well 4 her & all of u. I no marriane had also been in touch with her. & I no marriane is so sick & in pain now taking care of her x who I believe she took him off the streets & he is blind. She's always been a help on here since I found this site & I bless her she's got a great heart . Stay strong

Sorry about the typo 38 yrs I have had Chrons since 10 yrs old idk what the heck I wrote dying etc ugggg must be subconscious I feel like it sometimes from being so sick ugh lol

Hey sandy a follow Chrons disease buddy!!! How long and any surgeries? Got a big question for you... First real quick dying me 38!yrs and 4 surgeries bad genes in my family strong and I have done everything except biologicals I get infections low blood counts below 6.8 hemoglobin and I'm terrified of the biologicals they lower our system so much .. I see you went into Anaphalaxtic shock? Please tell me more about the biologicals etc? Also the pain meds help my Chrons so much particularly the breakthrough but like you lost my original dr he left his practice and I have someone but minimal help trying to fix that but I'm so sick that anything that takes work is hard... The Chrons worsens w age .:.:

Sandy, you need to see a Rheumatologist as well as a Pain Management Dr. I seriously doubt you will find a PCP who will rx the pain meds. They can, but most won't. You also need to be aware that a new dr will want copies of your medical records. And a new dr may or may not continue to treat you with the same meds you've been taking. Chances are you won't get a rx for pain meds or anxiety meds or Nuvigil on your first visit. You may need to see a mental health professional for the Nuvigil and anxiety meds.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. Your post was extremely helpful and what I am looking for help with. I am posting this on 12/22/2014. My last visit with my doc what on 12/18/14. I have many health issues but with my docs Creative thinking he manalower to treat me with meds that have helped to the point I no longer need a walker nor a cane. However my pain level still at many times is extremely high. I've lived with Crohns disease, endometriosis, fibromyalgia, 6 disks in my lower back are herniated and bulging, pinching my right never root, severe sacroiliitis, hemochromatosis, AND...restrictive Cardiomyopathy. I have been on Humira which seemed to really help but after six mos of weekly inj's. I went into Anaphylaxis shock. I've been on many pain meds since 7th grade. Started with mild to now in my 40's, much stronger meds. The appointment on 12/18 was my last visit with him bc he retired. He doesn't have anyone to refer me to except one doc in the area that won't bill insurance and he wants 200.00/monthly visit to write me my meds. A.. I don't want a doc to "just write scripts" and B. I refuse to allow him to take advantage of this situation. I'm in Saratoga NY/Albany, NY. I don't know what to do. My primary doc has said he won't prescribe them and has been no help. I work full time and manage at lease half a life bc of these meds and now I'm scared to death as to what's going to happen to me. I'm on Oxycontin 60mg 3 times a day and Oxycodone 10/325 4 times a day, clonazapam, amitriptyln, tizanidine, all for pain. Then high doses of diuretics daily for congestive heart failure. Since my sleep is very poor my doc started me on Nuvigil to help me to be able to continue to work. I was having a very difficult time with extreme fatigue and in a "fog" which was really impacting my job dramatically. I have 30 days from 12/18 before I will run out of meds. I know it's a lot to take in but you don't mind, I would love to know if you have any suggestions for me.

Oh good thanks this 1 went through faster haven't seen the1 with all ur names yet I hope 2 c it I wanted 2 include all I could so that's y I went back 10 pages of posts.my bests always keep the faith stay strong I've learned so much & made great contacts.it takes awhile but worth it.thanks again blessing u all.a.xoxo

Tramadol withdrawals can cause death & body problems lasting a lifetime . Just as other drugs. I'm so dam TIERD of being sick , not getting quality care thanks dea how many suicides ,deaths & loss of limbs r attributed 2 lack of care. The effect is overwhelming. Not 2 b able 2 work, care 4 ur family, play with ur children etc. It must stop! I'm taking charge of my body. Which is y I've gotten so many responses & info. So 2 get better & off this tramadol which was a hand out by wat I call pharmacy pushers that go door 2 door @ doc offices. The effects of these have not truly been examined, nor have they listed how many people have had adverse effects. The other was Savella. O here try this. It had only been in the us 4 a few months. Look @ all the adds that list bad drug effects that co.s want u 2 go after the makers of them. I was on actos but it worked ok 4 me. Who nos down the road wat it might cause. Yet this passing off of drugs has grown & not being held accountable. Er doc said get off the tramadol by using Xanax -alprazolam & a stronger pain med. well of course we no the doc won't do that . She gave me Tylenol 3. O goody. Thanks . Now Ive had It.i now have alprazolam & soon some codeine. I'm feeling more myself & calmer not jumping out of my skin. The costs of docs hospitals home products etc etc. This is cheaper in the long run. Looking 4 another doc. Again

Wish we could find a place or forum where we could truly talk. I no they want this safe but I've had so many Infoseek ive just tried to post & help but not c them yet. There r things we need 2tslk about & feel better hat we can discuss what we no that can help more . I went back 10 pages got all the names hoping the post would go through . I've been in touch with so many in dif . Areas Id love 2 share. A lot has been informative & 2the point about drug distribution & problems etc

There's so much on the web sites Such as the ones I sent. I wasn't sure if it would go if I included the whole address. pharma it seems plus others do get meds from overseas as many others do 2.cost & etc. china is the biggest by far. the documents even from gov. No it .so try 2 find out as much as u can because there r reputable places & the sites I've read the doctors don't even no wats wat. i think it's so wrong that pharmacy sends reps 2 docs & give samples 2 use. Kickbacks cause damage beyond belief hope my other post gets here. hope all is well as can b

Read about pharma & wats been going on very interesting 2 say the least & chinas role, not 2 mention pfizer. Buy outs take overs mostly the lies coming from every where. No wonder its confusing 2 us all & needs serous change. Like the times u sometimes get these sample drugs handed 2 u. who no wat it really is. only been in r country don't while. Happens 2 much. NOT PROFESSIONAL !! I hate those pharmaceutical drug pushers.

Hi guys sorry haven't been on last week my Crohn's disease has been awful this time of the year is even worse ...,I'm so sick of being sick and the pain... We are suppose to go out tonight and I never leave because I'm always sick.... My poor family I hate that... They are wonderful and very supportive I just don't like to bother anyone... f100 gonna get out there for consultation for sure... Have a nyc dr as I mentioned but they give you so little in a way it makes your worse ... Like I said with 38 yrs of disease pain meds was the easy part until all the changes which as you know are insane for us that r really sick.... I hope we can cross paths did U get that number ... I really want to talk w u especially b4 I go out there... Dr tenant like I said is a gem and told me how to handle pain meds for my disease which these Drs here have never even mentioned what dr tenant said.... It's like light and day of knowledge... My primary and Gastros and specialists etc all support my pain meds But it's not up to them to do the prescribing just letters and back up saying its needed... I'm looking forward to get treated properly and get relief so I can at least function somewhat... I know what helps the most and that's my breakthrough because it's the only one that absorbs some which is something dr t explained absorption for me w so many surgeries and compromised bowel is an obstacle but can be handled... I feel dr tenants group could not only help but do it safe and smart... And that's the most important part... I'm so very sorry about your son.... Anyway, love to all my friends here. I love you guys and want so much for peace and happiness for all of you...

I went back about 10 pages of posts... I'm sorry if I did miss ur name I wanted 2 say thank u 2 all of u also suffering in pain. The many trips 2 so many docs. So many failed attempts on meds. That don't work or make u worse . & 2 b talked down 2 & belittled so much so that u don't even want 2 go back. I had posted awhile ago that I was sick of this whole runaround doctor find . The cost , time , insults & feeling like a non human . I did some dinging & found interesting things about our meds. Haven't finished yet all of it but did find that a pharmacy co. Seems not 2 have 2 b regulated 4 generic . I'm working on more 2 b safe. I have gotten some samples of the (health products) Thursday. This is just 1 co. Another few are available 2 try. Haven't yet. It's taking time & contacts plus finances. I'm done being put down & turned away. There is a legal aspect that has helped only 4 a few co. im hopeful that I would b able 2 let u no more as 2 who u can contact ASAP. It's Sunday & I'm feeling better slowly & trying different doses. Not sure how much will b sent through on this post. Hope all r well & it goes through ok. I believe this is important 2 all that's y I went back 10 pages & tried 2 get as many names... Sorry again if I missed u. I just no if u sent a name in the box it will get to u . My love & best wishes. & with the (health) products im trying.thst I can get u that info. Since the laws have changed 1 co. Is able 2 send from (elsewhere) the tramadol still causing very bad things not a stable drug.so I recieved alprazolam & codeine 2 get me off this tramadol junk.xo wish we could talk 2 each other. & I'm concerned about Marrianne & have NOT heard from CO Suzie.

I have been dealing with pain for over 20 yrs. now. If it wasn't for some others that helped me find a Dr. to treat me with enough meds to take pain away and keep it away for the most part. Even though I was getting high dose of meds I still had pain but it wasn't bad enough to keep me in bed all the time. I was seeing a Dr. in california for 2 yrs. then he passed away so had to find new dr. thats when I meet DR. Tennant he was very understanding, my testosterone level was so low he said he didn't know how I was able to even walk. As painful as it is at time to walk or sit , stand or even lay down the pain is there to remind me what it will let me do. My son passed away a little over 3 yrs now. He was in pain from car accidents and was not getting enough pain meds either, they gave them to him before but now with things being the way they are he got them from street , methadone mixed with his other meds caused his death. We lived together and I found him in his room, not something that I ever thought i would have to do. It sucked still does. The drs, that prescribed methadone for pain in my area soon found that it was causing alot of death due to it building up in your system then getting released all at once. The drs, here quit prescribing methadone and went back to hydromophone or diluidid. I my self am prescribed this for my pain. I had three disc removed fused together wirt screws and rods from the S1 to L3 in lower back. Been hell for along time dealing with thiem. Was alitte easier when I was 35 but now I,m 58 and wounder how much longer I can keep going like I have in past. Been through withdraws that almost killed me, couldn't eat, drink, or sleep for 6 days and lucky I had a Drs, appt my blood pressure was 60 over 40 my kidneys were shutting down but I have to say I felt pretty relaxed, but any way they took me from drs office to hospital. and here I am, wishing I could do more for the others that are in pain and unable to find drs that will help. hopefully the names I posted some of you can see one of them. I am lucky that I receive a pension that pays me enough that I can travel to get help, it does cost aliitle, 300.00 for drs visit plu air fare motel car rental and the meds. I do know a guy in N California that helps people like us and he picks you up at airport and takes you to motel and to drs and such. He was a big help to me when I needed it. But don't know if it is right to post his name. Good luck to you that are looking for dr.there is supost to be a dr in ohio that treats pain patient but I never got his name. so this is my story me and pain!!!
