Janet Marie I hope that right & hello 2 all I've gtten 2 no. Sorry I haven't been on here. I saw this for tramadol ... Please please try 2 find something else . I no drugs work better for some or diff. For each. All I will c say is tramadol is worthless for pain. It changes U & u don't realize the anger the anxiety. No sleep & is a highly abused drug . I've been going through withdrawals from tramadol since I pulled myself off & ended in the er for this past thanksgiving. Yes it is a class 4 now it & the brand name ultram r now preparing 2 get involved with numerous legal suites.. I've written 2 the FDA & the American chronic pain ass. It has gotten so rediculuss for any in true pain. I said it b for. Please stop treating those in need with these so called cure all drugs. It pain plain & simple . Read more stay better informed & please all take care . My best. I am not doing well thanks 2 dea & these weird new drugs ment 4 other things wen they first came out. Depression & a long list. Ultram was a first tried for that then the tramadol generic of . Had been handed out so much. Then all the problems er was c ing & the squad runs etc. Teens & adults darting taking like 10 even 20 of tramadol. A lady left her husband after yrs of marriage because he changed & became so different she left. & went on 2 seek more & more of tramadol. I feel so bad hearing this stuff. .docs. Need 2 stant up & treat for pain the best way by listening better 2 us. We no wat we feel & say it's wrong they look the other way ! Yes I wish more dr. Tennants could b found. Bless u all & watch out for the cure all drug (fibromyalgia) stuff Savella will send u off the planet. Might work for some. B better informed . Do please.

Looking for a doc in Dallas to treat all the ailments that's been listed in these blogs. I've got so many things wrong with my back and neck, too many to list. I DO NOT Dr shop but just when you think your in good with your personal doc, things seem to change and then my treatments and medications have to be altered. Its been an up and down problem since the new laws came into effect. When you find a happy medium, then things should be left alone!!! Its led me to have to find other doctors which now looks as though I'm doctor shopping. I just want a doctor that will treat me with the same meds I've been on for 30yrs and let it be. Why mess with what works???

HA HA. You must think disability is great. So far I have lost my home and had to move into projects. When you go from an income of 50,000 a year to 10,000 a year their is not much that this will pay for when you include utilities and food. My child has also been affected by it as well since he can no longer play sports due to low income he has become with drawn due to getting picked on by kids at school. This is not living my friend. You should try it some time and see if you can live a good life on that.

I have spinal stenosis and deteriorating disc all down my back had fifth and sixth vertebrae removed and had a infusion done.I was getting 120 oxycodone 15mg and 90 oxymorphone 15mg my Dr discharged me without any reason. Are there any Dr in concord nc that will give my medicine back I am in serious pain and don't get but about 2 or 3 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period someone please help!!

MJC, methadone HCl has the longest half life if any opioid. It is also cumulative, meaning it accumulates in your body as it is very fat-soluble. It would block the effects of other opiates and opioids - people who use H on top can be dicing with death as they will not feel it, take more and eventually OD chasing the buzz. Methadone is an extremely strong analgesic and should deal with most pain. The probs start occurring when you try to use stronger opioids in top if it!

Pain, if you receive SSDI, you should receive about half of what you were making. Your child is eligible for Dependent Benefits which are half of what you receive divided between all of your dependents. But, from what you've said, you may only receive SSI, which in 2015 has a max federal monthly amount of $733 a month and no dependent benefits. If you're on SSI, it's a shame you didn't pay some of the $50,000 a year into social security in case you became disabled.

I agree with you but most people of 25 do not think about things like this as this or I would have. I get SSID but, did not have enough quarters of work experience to get a good percentage of my income and my son does get a check but, unfortunately it is not enough. I called the DEU of Alabama as well as the Medical Board along with my family doctor I was able to be referred to a pain management facility. With the MRI reports and my surgeon refusing to do anymore epidurals and wanting to do another back surgery. The facility can not force me to take them due to the orders that my surgeon filed. Thank you for the tip I do appreciate it. I have definitely learned that I need to invest in some type of CD's. I plan to go back to work after I graduate for my Bachelors in Psychology and will be prepared if and when I have to stop working. It has been a long process and it is absolutely horrible when you are trying to find a way to go back to work and some jerk calls you a drug addict. I think it is a shame that the government has any authority on pain meds. I understand that there is a huge amount of people that are addicted or sell their medications. I do not agree with this part but to each his own. I wish the best to everyone here. I have never judged people for what they do because I do not know their circumstances. When my husband got hurt he was 18 and I was upset when he turned to the streets for medication but I seen the pain he was in and he refused to have back surgery. I left when he turned to methadone. I do not care that it blocks pain, its killing him in the process and, I can not allow my child or myself around that kind of trouble. I wish you all the best. It is a shame that so many people suffer in pain daily and our Government thinks they know what is best for us. I do not wish harm on anyone but if the people that made hurtful comments and label us as addicts I wish each and everyone of them had 48 hours of severe pain maybe they would change their opinion. But as they say opinion's are like a**holes everyone has one. Thanks for the advice and good luck.

Karen I have to agree Ultram is a very toxic and a crazy drug. One friend of mine ended up in the hospital with seizers. I took it years ago when it first came out thinking great a non narcotic that's good. OMG it makes you very feel toxic. A family member was prescribed it for a short time and would never take it again. Furthermore, if one is on it for any length of time their body will be exactly dependent as any of the othersl. Btw have you seen the TV ads call the law office of (many) for Cymbalta? I know some so like it but apparently there are some bad side effects. Anyway, lots love to you all...

I am a 54 year old woman suffering from fibromyalgia, arthritis and osteopenia. My Doctor in OH prescribed me Vicodin 8 years ago. This is the only thing that helps. I've tried lyrica and am currently taking cymbalta at night. I've moved to Okeechobee, Florida and need a Dr. that will prescribe Vicodin please help!

I am having a hard time trying to get a doctor to prescribe me pain meds. I'm in Wisconsin and I just found out that I have ankylosing spondylitis and that is worst than R.A. they say that man are more likely to have this disease than women and I am a woman that have five kids and my husband that came out of his coma in Nov of last year and for me to take care of everyone and myself is really hard cause I have no pain meds. I was on 9 of the 20 mgs of oxycottin and for breakthrough pain I took 3 of the 10/325 mg of vicdone that was back in 2009 and went from that to just last year to having only the vicdone is really good but the cold weather makes it hard. To top everything I'm allergic to all steroids and all N saids and that makes it even harder to get any help from any doctor. So know I take this cancer pill methotrexate and a folic acid to help slow the ageing down. They say when you find out you have it you only have 20 years left to live.

Hi, I fell 2 floors and landed on concrete stairway. my DR's put me on 800 mg morphine a day plus 9 #10 hydro's. last month they said i will get only 1 more rx then nothing. i have been on this s*** for 18 years. i have 9 blown disc's and have had 120 pulse operations. i sure as hell didn't do this to myself and now after years of going through more pain then 100 people could stand they are ripping me off all pain medications. I need a DR who values his oath to preserve the heath and well being of their clients and the quality of life. i have been trying to take myself off it but only find myself in so much pain that i cant get out of bed. not a way to live for anyone. i need a doc in Portland Oregon who doed not just throw his or her clients to the wind after putting them on so much pain medication. what they are doing should be a jailable crime

I'm in upstate South Carolina and cannot find a Dr that hasn't undermedicated my pain. My PCP sent me to a orthopedist who did a couple unsuccessful RF denervements and epidurals for my degenerative disk disorder/bulging disks/spinal stenosis/facet syndrome. both of these Drs had me on 120 Norcos (5/325) per month. I had to work hard not to use them too fast as some times my flare ups would get so I was having panic attacks.
She referred me to Dr Loudermilk, a pain management specialist. I had high hopes for someone with that specialty. On my first visit he cut my prescription in half with the assurance we would monitor and adjust. After several months he has adjusted nothing but his attitude. If I bring up my unmanageable pain he gets upset with me and asks what I'm doing. When I start to explain this is usual, he gets up and ends the visit.
I need to find a real dr who actually will work with me. I've been in pain for over 20 straight years and only have a few weeks left in my tolerance. I'm ready to end the pain forever. Seriously. I will travel to Atlanta or Charlotte if that's what it takes.

Here we go again with theses so called pain management people. I will never again trust any !! & the God complex 2 tell us how we should feel or just leave . Even some insult u. Yell @ u & put u down. Like we need this in our so called lives as we try 2 get better. Or stay better on wat was working. Then again those dam shots . Oh u need this done or im not giving u meds. Well that's enough !! We now wats worked. We no how we feel. & don't need any 1 in a profession 2 demean is. I use profession not 4 the pain management comunity @ all. 2 me they r big , very big part of this whole prob. Doctors indeed. !! Ha the damage theve been left 2 do is stupid it continues. They all need 2 b retrained or gotten rid of. It's money that's it !! Going back & etc. We need help !! They don't even want 2 listen or care !!! I'm not sure y they should even b able treat pain. The scar tissue that can happen after shots. Mine sent me back 2 b diabetic even after I told the m**** I could have cortisone! 6 weeks of intense pain after. Wats happened 2 getting better & leading a normal life. Not crawling around on the floors getting a few things done.!! Taking a walk I would love 2 do !! Play with & take better care of me & my pets & home. Well health care u need 2 step up & say enough is enough 2. The cost then the ER visits the products etc etc . Health care hmmm is it realy & that cost we hardly afford or not @ all. STOP it needs 2 STOP!! Pain is ours & we don't want it we didn't ask 4 it & our families & friends & workplaces need us 2 b there!! So WHOS NEXT ON LIST there r so many & if we got the treatment we needed ud b surprised 2 c the difference in so many ways! Lv

Sent longer text again I hate it wen this happens . So u treat the pain just for pain & ud b surprised 2 c the dif. In the world. Depression anxiety etc. Would b better. Families friends co workers etc. Would benefit from those in pain doing better feeling better etc. I hope my other post gets in soon. The ins. Co will & should b doing something. Pain man. Is a joke. 2 pay 2 b in more pain & have 2 go back & treated bad . Meds cut done or changed & we r all stick in pain & sick some even so tierd of the pain & treatment it might b there last day. Shame on this system of so called health !!!!
