I usually get peach 0.5 Alprazalom. I got peach ones same oval shape that say xanax 0.5. They dissolve in my mouth faster than I can get a drink. The other day I even vomited. Are they real or too strong for me cause they are named brand or is there a difference?

Xanax might be one of the worst tasting pills ever made? Soma is also quite unpleasant. While they make a sub lingual version that I'm sure tastes better, we have members that snort, shoot, smoke, and chew Xanax. They do need help, but I have never thrown up while taking this medicine. Sure if one gets stuck in your mouth or throat you have about two seconds to react. Always have water with you!

Yes, there can be a difference between the generics and name brands in the amount of the active ingredient, so they may be slightly stronger than what you're used to taking.

However, if they are dissolving in your mouth, then it most likely means that you are taking them wrong. Most people just place pills on their tongue, then reach for a drink to swallow them and that is not how they are supposed to be taken.

The tablet should actually be placed as far back on the tongue as possible, which basically means almost into your throat, just short of choking on it and then swallowed immediately with a full glass of water.

This means that they shouldn't actually have a chance to be hit with so much saliva and start dissolving that fast.

As to the vomiting, I'm not sure, it may be stronger, or it could just be a reaction to the fact that it was dissolving in your mouth. That can make many people retch involuntarily.

Try swallowing the way I described, if you can and see if that helps.

can you post back and let me know?
