My sister is on this drug wioth Morphine, Soma, Xanax 10 QID 7
PROZAZ FOR BACK PAIN. her is getting worsw so her medications are getting stronger. We aew worried. She has dependancy problency befe & her Des. Don't know this. A Worried Faily

Not long ago i had a surgery and was given dilaudin. It interfered with some of my other medications (an antidepressant, moodstabilizer, antianxiety...) and I almost died. My blood pressure dropped dangerously low, my oxygen levels plummeted, and they had to call a code blue. Fortunately I had a nurse who acted quickly and gave me an injection of something that neutralized the dilaudin and they did not have to rescusitate me. I hope hat a doctor is closely monitoring your sister. best of luck...

I also had this drug when in the hospital and I had a serious reaction as if I was going insane/crazy. I felt like I was going to end up in a mental ward as a mental patient. It was terrible and very fringhtening. They also gave me something to counter-act it or something and then finally the insane/crazy feeling went away.
I now where a medical alert bracelet with allergic to dilaudid or dilaudin. Somehow, they spell this word two different ways but it is the same drug!!!!!
