Detoxing From Subutex Help!

I have been on subutex for 5 years as I have multiple sclerosis and it was prescribed for pain. I am into my 3rd day off of subutex and I feel terrible. Does anyone know how long I am going to feel this bad Is there anything I can take to help this terrible withdrawal. I feel like my skin is crawling and I keep thinking maybe I should go back on it. I had been on 32 mg.for a couple of years then I went down to 24 mg for several months then 16 mg for 6 months then 8 mg for a few months then 2 mg twice a day and then 1 mg in the am and 2 in the pm and then stopped
I thank anyone who can help me with their words. I pray and read the bible but I just thought I needed to reach out for help

I am very sorry that you are suffering. Have things improved, at all?

I know the withdrawals can be miserable, I've went through it, when I stopped pain management. The Buprenorphine in Subutex is very potent, so in reality even though you weren't taking a lot, it was probably still to high of a dose for you to stop abruptly.

However, at this time, if you've been off for this long, you'd only recreate the problem if you start taking it again and it's likely best to just weather it out.

unfortunately everyone around me told me to go back on it as they see a huge difference when I am on in verses off it. it appears I become extremely depressed and anxious however I am still on a low dose. I am having surgery in a couple of weeks so i am going to have to get off it anyways although the dr. said no I did not. I do not think he really knows Thank you so much for responding I have to go but I will look again for a response.
