it's DilauDID- it is a morphine hybrid pill that comes in 2, 4, & 8 mg pills- they state the # on one side- it's used to treat severe pain in larger doses, i had a friend with cancer who had a giant bottle of them- they bring euphoria with their pain-killing abilities- but they are very addictive. to compare them to larger-name drugs, they aren't as potent as morphine, they're between vicodin & percocet as far as effects go...
what are the side effects of deladin
What are the side effects.
To add some clarification to this post, I'd like to say that yes, the correct medication name is Dilaudid.
It is a very potent narcotic pain medication that contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone, which does carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation.
Contrary to what has been stated, however, it is actually one of the most potent narcotics available. Just as an example, if you were taking 10mgs of Oxycodone, you'd only need 3.75mgs of Dilaudid to achieve the same analgesic effect.
Are there any questions I can help with?
If you're unfamiliar with it, you can read more Dilaudid details here.
Can you tell me about the liquid dilaudid used in what's called a pain pump? I have asked my Dr. a lot of questions but this is one question that I failed to ask.
