Does anyone know where I can find a suboxone dr in PA. I live in Blair County, Altoona area but ill travel. I am currently on Methadone 80mgs. I know I have to get dwn to 30mgs to start suboxone but ill do it as fast as possible. I have been clean off of all illegal drugs for 10yrs now & my Methadone clinic keeps messing w me. They're telling men i have substances in my drug screen that I didnt even take when I was an addict on the street. I can see why some ppl would deny it even if it were true so when this happens to those of us who r really telling the truth the staff doesnt know who is lying & who is being truthful. If I were lying i wouldnt be on here where nobody knows me. I want out of my clinic & would like to get kn suboxone...then start to detox off of it so I am competely drug free. So does anyone know of srs in PA????? I REALLY NEED HELP!!!!!!

8888984818. You will reach what seems to be almost like a call center. I want to let you guys know that if you have all of your information ready (your doc's info and your personal info ready) it will make it a lot quicker.

A worker will ask your doc's namean find out if they have their here to patient maximum, which is only three of their 100 patient max. Even if your doc or their office telld you they already have their maximum CALL HERE TO HELP ANYWAY. My doc's office LIED to me and told me for months that I would have to wait for room because my doc already had his three patients. I called here to help and found out that he didn't have ANY PATIENTS ENROLLED AND I WAS THE FIRST!

Now who ever you talk to at here to help will verify all of this and then tell you they can mail or fax the paper app to your doc's office. have them fax it WHILE YOU ARE AT YOUR DOC'S. That way you can make sure your doc's office/clinic has all info right, you will have a portion to fill out. AND FAX IT RIGHT BACK TO HERE TO HELP. That way you know everyone has what they need and can expedite your application. Good luck and don't let ANYONE railroad ya!

Is your specimen lab tested or just a basic screen in the doc's office?

I found out alot of insur comp require a prior authorization frm prescribing dr. Before any copay can be determined. I go threw rite aide my dr prescribes 14 each script for first 8 wks. My copay is $3.65 each script. I have health ins threw ex hubby and then the state aide insure. It started at $240 each then found out both insure needed prior auth and thats when it went dwn to $3.65. That took alot of anxiety away. Pharmacy and dr aren't required to tell u that even if a state aide insurance is helping. It's a gaurrenty so call ins first, most of time they appr tablets and or film. I swear by subs my wrld is 100 percent btr since I started and with counseling in conjunction with.

Yes, Suboxone is an expensive medication, even if you do have some type of health insurance coverage. Only a select number of doctors can prescribe it to a limited number of patients, giving them the power to set their prices as high as they like. No, it doesn't seem fair but these are just the facts of life.

I would just like to mention something that should hopefully put things in perspective. How much did you spend EVERY single DAY in order to support you habit? I'm sure for the vast majority it is well over the cost of your doctors visit and the $250-400 a month you are spending on your legally prescribed Suboxone prescription.

All pharmacies will let you pick up partial prescriptions if it is easier to break up the cost over the course of the month. And just about any doctor that prescribes this medication should be able to provide with discount cards/coupons that you can use with or without insurance.

Edgar, this is Ash from Ohio. I had an appointment at a place set up for you in your area. Did it not work out?

Hope you're doing well...

That's completely true, I paid the 250 a month for the doc appt and then I would fill my script PARTIALLY once a week. Which cost about 88 bucks. I asked my doctors receptionist and she had misinformed me that they're office already had their 'Here to Help' program maximum met (three per doctor)....I took it upon myself to call the program myself and was informed that I would be the only patient on the program.

Here to Help is available to patients that don't have any insurance. Your income doesn't matter at all. If you get insurance at a later date just call them and inform them and will cancel in case you lose your !you will still have it available in case you lose it again. It only covers your prescription costs for a year.

But like said below, even when I paid around 600 a month including script cost and appt cost, it was A cheaper then my 2-400 dollar a day habit!
Call someone, if you're serious, if not leave the space you would take for someone who is.

I live in Delaware and have always paid 3.00 co-pay for 14 12mg suboxone films. This is because of Delawares free medical ins. for the poor ( unwilling to work ). Weell, as of Sept. 1 2013 the jokes on me. The new Medicaid policy is as follows,. Only 1 8mg film will be covered per day and a consistant decrease in dosage must take place over a 6 month period leading to a suboxone free client. The extra 4mgs I get have to come out of my pocket. Heres the catch. I get perscribed 14 12mg films every 14 days. Not 28 8mg films so I pay all or nothing. Medcaid covers 10 12mg films. The other 4 at $14.00 each goes directly to me. Meaning my script now costs $56.00 insted of $.50

Bulls*** , I get nothing . Let me tell ya I'm sick to death of hearing people say yea dude I get my 90 suboxone a month for 3 bucks . Suboxone here to help won't help because god forbid I'm not below that %250 proverty level , an here is another thing they won't help because I have insurance hahahahhahaha I site do but I have fought for the past year to get this trashy insurance to help me with my suboxone and they refuse . So hey now I kno why people stay home and draw welfare , you get it all . Free meds , free doctors , free dentists

Ummmm I'm sorry but I happen to work and I work very hard , I have worked my f***ing entire life and hard . Don't talk to me about tax dollars. I pay enough on my property and on people that get this med for free every month and who misuse it. Don't assume people don't work and you paying for them , cause I'm in the same boat . U think I ain't paying for these people to get their meds while I suffer , they go to ER everyday , u think I can even see a dr without being charged ridiculously while they get everything for nothing . Hahahah wow you are dumb to sit there and think I haven't paid in enough . Lemme tell u they owe me . They owe me . I tell u I paid in my entire life for these people that live on the system. Please go someplace else and not here because you will never know wat it's like to be on this med your whole life and hate every minute of it.

First if you have insurance call the number on the back for mental health. Or search for a addiction specialist in your area which you can do by google search. If you don't have insurance respond to this or email me directly if your serious and I can help give u resources as to what step to take next. Any questions please ask I remember being in the exact spot your in back in 2009 I will do as much as I can to point anyone looking for help into the right direction. {edited for privacy}

Just GOOGLE suboxone doctors in your area. You'll have results. ...

I would call several different ones if you don't have insurance and plan on paying out of pocket. It can be rather expensive. I would try calling your local/county mental health center too, if they have a suboxone program they will most likely base the cost on your income.

Even if paying out of pocket I'm sure it will be a less costly habit then the one you pay for now.

Life hahahhahah
