Clonazepam 0 5

Updated

I have been diagnosed since age 23, with bipolar disorder, mood disorder, depression, and major anxiety. I'm 54 now. I have a new pysch doctor, due to old doc not taking my insurance. The new doc I seen last month, put me on 0.5mg clonazepam, twice a day, trileptal, trazadone, and paxil. Why would I still be having anxiety issues, and still having frequent panic attacks? It seems miday, and middle of night, I get hit the worst. The trazadone 100mg help me sleep at first, but now can't fall asleep until 4 or 5am,and again only getting 3 or4 hours of sleep again. The trileptal and paxil seems to work ok now, after building up in system, but probably need some re adjustments. Would like your thoughts, comment, or experiences. Also, is anyone else on this combo? Thank you very much.

Hello, Kimmy! How are you doing? Has there been any change?

It could simply be a matter of not all medications working for everyone that tries them. That's generally why there are several choices to try in any given therapeutic category.

When do you take the Trazodone and the doses of Ativan? Both of those can help with insomnia, so making sure you take them at bedtime may help, if your doctor approves.

Does anyone else have experience with this medications?

Just to let you know Kimmy the reason why the clonazepam 0 5 isn't working is because these pharmaceuticals companies put what ever the heck they want into our medications. Heartless pharmaceuticals companies!

Joe,

Unless you work in a professional capacity in this field I find it totally irresponsible to state such unhelpful biased information. Many folks struggling with conditions that necessitate powerful drug therapies DO NOT BENEFIT FROM ALARMISTS perpetuating such demagoguery. Generic meds can often contain binders and fillers unfamiliar to the patient so their system responds in a unfavorable way. In these cases a return to the brand should always be considered. FURTHERMORE, BENZO AND OPIATE CLASS DRUGS produce tolerance issues which may falsely be interpreted as my meds must be bogus or knockoffs that's just false. Dosage adjustments and transitional options are available and should be entertained but ONLY UNDER MEDICAL SUPERVISION. Lastly, generic manufacturing allows a % differential which I too am troubled by but that % is so minimal as to negligibly effect it's user. Should that occur please contact your prescriber so allowances can be achieved. Generic formulations provide the patient many alternatives when cost is a consideration. How many millions have suffered for decades prior to generic equivalents being available ?? These meds prescribed went unfilled, is that a better option?? I think not but in a free society we should be afforded the opportunity to CHOOSE without biases or preconceived thoughts.

Re: Freedomtochoose (# 3) Expand Referenced Message

FYI There was a news report on fox news that stated exactly what I said about these pharmaceuticals companies. The woman was hospitalized for a week until they discovered that it was the heart medication that she was on that was not made properly that almost killed her, had they not tested the pills she was taking and corrected it she would've died. I myself experience it. Dangerous medications out there no doubt. She needs to be aware that it may not be her but that It's the way that these pharmaceuticals companies are producing the medication. Not trying to hurt anyone just help with the truth. Just hope and pray that you don't come across one of these crooked pharmaceuticals companies. Then YOU will understand what I posted was for her benefit.
