You should use the minimum amount of Cipro that you have been instructed to take. If you do not know whether to take it twice or three times a day, then you should check your prescription or call your doctor.

There are MANY MANY downsides to taking Cipro. Please read the Introduction to Fluoroquinolones here.

Please do your research on these drugs so that you know if you are having a side effect. And NEVER take more Cipro than you are prescribed or use it for any infection that has not been diagnosed by a doctor. This is not an antibiotic to simply take if you think you have an infection and have a few left in a pill bottle in the bathroom. It's wise to research this powerful drug and understand it thoroughly.
