The correct drug name is Suboxone, it contains the active ingredient Buprenorphine, it is an opiate narcotic, commonly used to treat severe pain and drug addiction.

Suboxone also contains Naloxone, which is an opiate agonist, this helps prevent someone abusing other narcotics while under treatment.

What it does is help prevent the withdrawals associated with stopping the use of other opiates. Trained medical professionals start a person off at a dosage equivelent to that of the other narcotics they were using.

This helps prevent the withdrawals and by doing a very slow taper, many people have successfully ended up drug free.

Some common side effects to this medication may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
