Cefalexin For Cough
UpdatedIs it OK to take cefalixin cefalin for a cough with stiky plegm ang yellowish color.?

This is an antibiotic and will only help with bacterial infections. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
Not all yellowish phlegm is indicative on an infection, so it would be best to have a doctor evaluate your issues. It could just be your body fighting off a cold, or allergic stimuli.
Are you on any other medications?
