Can Sulfamethoxazole-tmp Ds Tablet Cause You To Miss Your Period?

okay... .. . so .... me and my boyfriend had sex three times a few weeks ago. after the first time i got my period. then we did it twice more. every time he wore a condom AND pulled out before he "came". we were super duper careful. i am now on an antibiotic ( sulfamethoxazole) and now havent gotten my period ( it was four weeks since my last one started this past saturday) . i am worried of bein pregnant now... but i dont see how i could be since we were so careful and used a condom AND pulled out way before he "came". my question is..... . can taking an antibiotic for a u.t.i. cause a missed/delayed period??? HOPEFULLY! i also have a history of an ovarian cyst which can screw up yer period... .. . but i dont think i have one now....not that ik of =/

Have you talked to your doctor?

Regardless of how careful you are, if you are sexually active, there is a chance of getting pregnant. The percentage of possibility may be very low, but nonetheless, it is still there.

Have you done a pregnancy test?
