Aurobindo Citalopram

Hi, I just switched to CVS and my Citalopram smells funny. I didn't like it from the start and now I am getting headaches. May I ask, is it Gluten free? It is a white oval pill with A on one side and 07 on the other. Please help...

Many medications do have a funny smell, but some manufacturers use a coating to prevent people from smelling it.

As to the gluten, Aurobindo does use corn starch in this tablet, so there is a chance that it may be contaminated with gluten, if the plant the processed the corn starch also does wheat products.

Does gluten usually give you headaches?

Citalopram is classified by the FDA as an SSRI antidepressant and they lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings, weight changes and dry mouth.

I was also given the aurobindo citalopram I immediately started having nausea then the panic started . until one day at work I had a full blown anxiety attack. I called the c pharmacist he apologized and said he would order the brand I have been taking for the c past 6 years. They also use this company for the norco 10/325 . there is so much garbage I'm These pills I'm in pain all the time and my anxiety is through the roof because lucky pharmacy wants to save money.
