After watching the infomercial, I called to see where the product was made. The woman on the phone went off and after several minutes, came back to say she did not know. I did not think that was necessarily a good thing!
Furthermore, why not a medical professional on the show- instead of the guy who was doing the spot?
I called and the price was $149.00 for 3 bottles. Too much for me for an unproven product!

I called the number 800-228-3316 and it cost $30 per bottle, and the bottle comes with a months supple. I am thinking about purchasing it.

The comments made about arthi-d seem to be along the same lines, I went into a health store yesterday and asked about 3 specific brands, Arthri-d, fast joint care + (the egg membrane one) and SierraSil joint formula 14, arthri-d she didn't have a clue because there are no reports available except on tv, Fast Joint Care + she knew quite a bit about except exactly where they get that amount of membrane from, she was under the impression it was from restaurants and bakeries that use large amounts which made me wonder about the process of getting the membranes to a sterile environment quickly and I also asked if any of the membranes came from the farms that had the Samonella she said that would be kind of scary but wasn't sure. SierraSil seemed to get the best report for being researched beyond what is necessary. She did say they haven't had anyone get sick from egg membrane yet.

I'm glad to hear all the responses. Still not sure and not jumping in, yet. I remembered that my client's daughter had told me about and how it has helped be pain free. it took her approx. 3 mths to get there. She did notice some changes with her pain and said one day she was doing her dishes and she relized that she had NO PAIN. If she misses one, ( she takes one in morning) she can feel the pain coming back. The Name of this is GRAPE SEED 1000mg. there are higher ones, however she only needed the 1000mg. She started on the 1000 mg I haven't found it in our town of Grandbay-Westfield, NB. I haven't been to the city, I live farther out. Will check it out and let you know which Parmacy or Health Store has it.

in response to the ORIGINAL topic...I've tried this due to a meniscus tear...in attempts to heal and strengthen my knee joint. I feel it has assisted....not sure how much...but I feel NO pain and my knee has healed 95%.
good luck to you all.....especially the skeptics...it'll be tough to cure yourself with so many doubts. At the same time....i completely sympathize since there ARE so many useless products available these days.

Henri012 sounds like he works for the company. Everything he writes (and his countless posts) indicate he is getting paid to write the posts. Even the it doesn't work for everyone in a prior post down to the it didn't work for my wife, but worked for me cr&p validates my belief. I am searching for something to help my husband rid his body of Rheumatoid Arthritis, and might be willing to do the free 30 day and money back guarantee part, but I don't need to waste my time reading countless faker posts by people like Henri012. Seriously - read from the beginning of these posts and see if you can honestly say Henri012 isn't full of it.

the ingredients for arthri-D are on the website. arthrid.com
The ingredients are very different for the ones previously posted. I, too, would like to hear from someone who has tried this.

I saw the ad this morning (10/3/10) on t.v. It certainly appears that the guy selling this stuff is outright lying when he says that a doctor told him there is absolutely nothing being done to find a cure for rheumatoid arthritis. I wouldn't buy crap off this guy. I have done great just going with health food diet, no processed foods, lots of spices, no red meat, Lots of good recipes by Dr. Nicholas Perricone and others. The most I take is ibuprofen or naproxen and I don't use any of them more than a few days in a row, rotate pain relievers, never take aspirin if I'm working in the sun. I eat a good traditional breakfast EVERY morning, 3 eggs, bacon or sausage, pancakes, biscuits or toast... with cinnamon & sugar. At 58 I've done great and am in great shape though I've suffered with joint pain and arthritis for over 20 years.

Dear Notanidiot,

It is refreshing to see that someone is doing some research by reading all of the posts. I only read these messages to be of help. I came to this forum wanting to know more about the product before I bought some.

I cannot apologize for being truthful and trying to help people with feedback. I still read these posts, but remain silent, mostly, as people try to figure what is best for them.

I do not work for ANY supplement company. I just like people. It is hard to like people that are falsely accusative. But, I manage by doing my spiritual exercises.

I am a member of ECKANKAR. (www dot eckankar dot org) and practice loving ones neighbor as one's self. If you want to know what I am about, then go to the website mentioned above.

What we see in others is usually what we have in our own hearts. That is why I post with a clear niceness and honesty. I try to be helpful and honest. I do not advocate Arthri D. I just share the changes for the better that I experienced.

Professionally, I am a 35 year Army Veteran (now retired since 2009), a full time college student (again), unemployed, but was just accepted by TSA (Transportation Security Administration) to be a Transportation Security Inspector for a major airport.

I will continue to play a role in protecting this great country that gives everyone the freedom to be what they will make of themselves. This country even affords the freedom for you Notanidiot to make verbal attacks that are not necessary, and untrue. Yes, your words stung. But, I have healed and do understand your suspicion (considering what kind of world this). And, I realize that my writing this may not change anyone's mind about what has been said of me. But, I do it out of love and hope to give you an opportunity to release the negativities in your heart and mind.

And now it is time to be silent again. I will probably continue to monitor this forum, but will not offer any further updates to my progress unless asked. Good luck and better health to all of you.

Again, I encourage you to look at the website I mentioned in parentheses ( www.eckankar.org ).

I just heard the advertisement on TV this morning. I am very skeptical. No price given. They don't even show the name of the product until the end of the show. Not sold on internet. When you call it must be a very hard sell. It is sounds to good to be true--it is!! No Sale here.

I've read the posts through number 152. I'm 44 and had knee surgery for a torn meniscus about 6 months ago. I liked Post 121 by snowman. Post 145 about the meniscus tear healing doesn't sound correct to me. My Ortho doctor says that the knee meniscus doesn't get enough blood supply to allow it to heal. He says other cartilage in the body can heal when I asked him about my shoulder. My physical therapist said to take condroitin and glycocimine (sp). I have the impression all of these help the symptoms but don't heal. Good luck to you all. If I take something, it will be glycocimine(sp) from GNC.

yada yada yada... another infomercial scam. just further shows there's a sucker born every minute. I hope people at least consult their doctor before even thinking about buying the product. You need to ask yourselves these questions:
What's this Shriner dude's background? Does he have a medical background at all? and finally, when has an infomercial EVER pitched a product that does what it's supposed to do?

I just saw the promo and ordered for my wife who has advanced RA.
She went through over 10 years on the Doctor's narcotics. Check back here in a month and I'll give you an update on how it works...or doesn't.
Oh, Yeah. I did do the automatic monthly for 47.98 incl shpg with the newsletter and their 800 # to cancel at anytime and I'll let you know how that works out too.

humans are so dumb there is no cure for Arthritis and the reason no prices are give for arthri-d is because they offer several different options and yes it is a natural supplement and yes it may not work for everyone. of Course you can continue with the pain-killers from your doctor which does nothing for the problem but tries to mask the pain

I'm an orthopedic surgeon and have studied and treated osteoarthritis extensively. These infomercials are an insult. I'm watching thus now and this guy can't even accurately differentiate the menisci from hyaline cartilage on the ends of the bones...yet he thinks that thus supplement can restore cartilage to the point where xrays will change....HILARIOUS. Wake up!

I ordered it for my mother who is in MUCH pain & now has to have a total knee replacement but is v. frightened of having it & after giving my debit card #, they told me shpg would be $19 for ~4 wks delivery & $30 if I wanted it in ~4 days. I told them they are just trying to make money on the shpg that the 1-yr supply would fit in a 1-rate box MUCH cheaper & that now I was suspicious of them & to cancel my order :/ I feel guilty that is why I started looking & found this page trying to get it for her anyway to try to get her some help. I hope there is some way other than the surgery to get her some help, she has bone on bone in the one knee.
