Teri and Tim:

I have been taking Arthri-D for only a week now. On the 3rd day, I noticed that my right knee did not feel funny anymore and the discomfort and slight pain from walking up and down the stairs in my house was gone. Before Arthri-D, when I sat at my computer for 20 minutes of work, I would get up with significant pain in my lower and thoracic spine. I cannot stand up straight at all. Since taking Arthri-D. I can get up with no problem. There is still some pain in my lower back. But, I can easily stand up straight. So, there is distinct improvement.

My wife's results are NOT as dramatic as mine. She thinks there has been some improvement, but only a little so far.

I will keep all posted with her results since her condition is much more acute than mine.

Also, the ingredients in Flex-protex-d are extremely similar as that of Arthri-D. However, Flex does not give even as much quantity information as Arthri-D. Also, on their website they mention a Glucosamine Derivative. I believe that they have copied Arthri-D and will not divulge too much, publicly, about their product so as not to invite legal issues.

At any rate, their price per bottle when you buy single is less than Arthri-D. But, when you buy bulk quantity of either the prices converge.

I will post again as our usage of Arthri-D progresses. (I am slightly concerned about William's post. He said that the Flex product quit working for him. So, I am wondering about Arthri-D since they have a similar formulation.)

Obviously Henry works for or owns Arthri D. This is not a medication but a combination of common ingredients found at your local walgreens that have somewhat been linked to helping or preventing symptoms of arthritis. Don't waste your money

Vsubia66102,

My name is Henri (pronounced Onree) and not Henry. I am not associated with Arthri-D except as a customer. And, that may be temporary. I only post here to be of assistance and was asked to report my experience with the product. I do not advocate the product. I am just giving honest experiences. Please do not carelessly accuse me of being deceitful as if only out to make money off of others.

If you are reading these posts looking for honest answers, read all of my posts and perhaps you will see that we are all on the same journey of trying to get healthier and stay that way.

Not all of the ingredients are easily obtained as you have claimed. I am not knowledgeable enough to mix them in proper proportions. So, I prefer to have a supplement that has been mixed for me.

In addition, I have tried many formulations just as others on this forum have. And, I have met with mediocre to nil results. So, I have hope for Arthri-D to continue to work for me and hopefully benefit my wife. But, only time will tell. The jury is still out on this.

Good luck on your search.

Hello to Henri, Thank you for your response back. I am very happy that you are letting us know about your results and specially your wifes results of the suppliment Arthri-D. It sounds like perhaps your wife is kind of in the same boat as me. I am bone on bone on my left, and close to the same on the right knee, at least that is what the doctor says. I have gone to him only once and had xrays. I could see the closed up gap on both my inner knee joints. I chose this doctor because my brother in law had knee replacement last year with a great success. Im just scared to do so. Im 54 yrs old and everyone says im a bit too young to have this done. My email is tgrisler at hotmail if you wish to write to me. I am a massage therapist and I have contacts with professional bodyworkers who have given me so many helpful advice. One of those was to get a foam roll. There are ways to release the facia/tissue in the quads, hamstrings and the IT band which all wrap around the knee. When those are tight, they squeeze the knee joint even more tightly and causes more pain. There are quite a few excercises and stretches your wife can do to relieve her pain. I have just started with these and I have had great results. Its doing them daily and even more than once a day to keep the pain at bay. If you wish, please write have your wife write to me or you write to me and I can send more info that may help her. Be well, I hope to hear back. Thank you again! Teri

Dear Bill and Henri,

Bill, thank you for your suggestion about the suppliment you tried. For you also, you can cantact me about the foam roll to release the tissue in the muscles in the quads, IT band and hamstrings which wrap around the knee joint and cause pain when those are tight.

Henri and Bill, i posted just a minute ago with my email and it said my post needed to be reviewed so i hope it goes through so you can see what I wrote. Again, be well, Teri

ok, I get how to type in the email addy now. Henri and Bill, i was trying to let you know that there are ways to release the muscles that wrap around the knee. I am doing so and they are helping very very much.. If you wish to email me, please do and I can send you links with instruction. Henri, you can have your wife write to me as well. There are ways to help with having bodywork done to lengthen the facia and soft tissue that holds our bones together. Please write to me if you wish, Id love to share so you can be helped with the pain. tgrisler at hotmail dot com. I hope this goes through.

I just watched the ad on TV for the first time and am very interested in the results of those who are trying this product. I have been dealing with back pain for years and now hip and leg pain. I have tried several different products and therapies - have had some temporary relief. I am currently taking Greek Island Labs all natural joint health - I feel like I have had some relief but not as much as I would like. Can't wait to hear about your results with Arthri d.

I saw this junk commercial. If you want an honest, great joint supplement - try Dr. David William's Joint Advantage Gold. My dad is 92, 5 hip replacements and this is the only product that gives him relief fro his knees, hips, hands and neck arthritis symptoms. I also have had great success with it and I am only 66!

I was happy to find so many opinions on this product. I was skeptical. Looks like I had a right to be. Old E.Cayce prescription that helps at least temporarily: Put castor oil (good grade) on part that hurts from arthritis, cover with plastic wrap for the night (maybe a cloth too over that?) My knee and toe was better in the am.

Hello to Henri. Im still eager to hear how the two of you are doing on this suppliment. I have taken Dr Williams also, but then i was introduced to Joint Solution by Vital Health by a nuitionalist who has helped me with other problems and his knowledge of natural suppliments. I just keep hoping that I will find something even better. Specially after watching the commercial about this Arthri-D. So I wait to hear and read the comments from Henri and others.

The castrol oil packs work great on so many ailments and painful areas. I had forgotten about those--so I will do the packs as well. Its an old remedy, but does work very well. Thanks to all. Teri

Arthri-D also has Yucca in it which is a known painkiller on it's own, you can buy it by the bottle in pill form. I called the Arthri-D # and was able to get a $39.99 trial bottle for the $7.99 price of S/H only. However, you must be careful to cancel withing 30 days of receiving if it is not working, because they will send more and charge accordingly. I was impressed with the highest quality glucosamine he said is used.

Jacque and La,

I researched the glucosamine in the Arthri-D. It has nothing to do with quality. It is a more expensive glucosamine than the sulfate. However, it also is a larger molecule and therefore harder to absorb. There has NOT been sufficient testing and study of that NAG type of glucosamine in the treatment of arthritis. It has primarily been used for digestive tract ailments. However, my personal experience so far with Arthri-D has been:

The product is still working quite well for me. I have arthritis pain in the knees and the right knee is worst. I also had moderate joint pain in my right hand that was not healing for over 6 months and was getting worse. The injury to my right hand was due to crushing blows to the knuckles by my middle school kids. It was their substitute for handshakes (I was a math teacher). I was greeted in this way by about 50 male students per day. Being macho I didn’t let them know my hand was getting damaged. I finally had to quit the practice. But, my hand suffered severely and I couldn’t pick up heavy objects with it. Even after having quit the practice for 3 months (greeting the students in this way), my hand was not improving. Within the first week of taking Arthri-D, I felt an improvement. And, now after two weeks, the pain is gone. But, I am still being very careful not to stress the hand so that it fully recovers. So, my right knee feels normal now and my right hand is almost completely healed. The arthritis pain in my cervical spine and lower back have also definitely improved with the use of Arthri-D.

However, it may be several more weeks before I am sure about my wife. She does a lot of garden work and I don’t think she rests enough for the healing process to work faster. She aggravates her condition on almost a daily basis. She rested for two days and her knees definitely got better but she was also icing them and using Australian Dream cream. So, I cannot attribute the improvement to just the Arthri-D.

NO PRODUCT works for everyone. Perhaps, it is because we are all different. I don’t know if it will work for my wife. I do know that I have purposely NOT taken any other products or treatments and my conditions have improved.

By the way, the Australian Dream Cream is very effective (though short term). Evelyn uses it a lot. I read up on the cream and was impressed with its claims of vasodilation and the Emu oil, etc. For quick relief, it seems to be a winner.

Leon,

Something has obviously gone terribly wrong. Try calling 800-330-1326. That is the customer service number I called them on when I wanted to have them adjust the time of my trial period with the product.

Good Luck.

Bill,
It is good that Flex Protec D worked for you and you are able to purchase again.

However, there is a different combination of ingredients in Arthri-D. Though several are the same, there are some additional ingredients in Arthri D. I try to be careful about statements being true. I do not know which product is better between the two.

Today completes my 3rd week on Arthri D. So far it is doing well for me and NOT so well for my wife, yet. She is taking several medications now and her experience cannot be attributed to Arthri D alone.
